Hi, I'm just curious about Hyun bin entering military. Is it voluntary? I read in some article that military service is mandatory in their country? Is that true or I just misunderstood the article.. About Hyun bin entering military for two years, what is gonna happen after two year? Is he going to be in military for good or it is just for two years?

hello angel belle yes it is mandatory in south Korea to do military services for two or more years. it is same in Singapore, china and some few other countries. I think Hyun Bin has been enrolled in Marine. BUT it was in March, so it has already been 3 months by now.

I see. You mean all koreans should undergo military service? What was the exam hyun bin took for? What if they failed the exam? What if they didn't do the military service? Sorry for too many questions.

It really helps. Thanks! I thought he'll leave his job as an actor. I'm glad it's only for two years.

Yes I saw this article before. After the shooting of Secret Garden, Hyun Bin will attend the marines. There is also another korean actor who is attending military right now. I'm not sure if it is the main lead of the korean series princess hours.
