Single Mom has to sell letter Obama sent her to take care of pressing matters

I came across this a few days ago but felt that would make for a great discussion. It seems a young lady who worked but had lost her job due to a difficult pregnancy has now fallen on hard times and is compelled to sell the letter she asked President Obama to write just to keep her encouraged and move into something better because she is not working and needs the funds to move and all. I think it's a darn shame. but yes, she intends to auction, sell it and do something to keep her family afloat. I just ran into a woman just asking for donations for her mother who is fighting cancer and she was around the shopping centers asking for help. I didn't have much but I gave her something because for one, it takes guts to go out and ask for help and two, I try to help my fellow man. what makes me mad is that this country is moreso a country holding it's hand out as opposed to doing. that makes me so mad.
