My boyfriend and I went on vacation a few weeks ago....we live in separate cities far from one another and only see each other once every few months.....I was under the impression that we were going on a romantic vacation for the two of us to bond and be together but from the moment we arrived, he started drinking and didnt stop at any point......when I confronted him about this, he said it was because it was an all-inclusive resort where all the booze was free so he took advantage of it....my issue is him being drunk and drinking all the time was not fun for me as I was not drinking and it also was not very romantic and I feel like we didnt get to spend any real quality time together becuase he was drinking the whole time.....is this normal?? Does everyone do this when they are on vacation with their significant other?? Should I just brush off this behaviour?? I feel hurt and like he made boozing more important than spending quality time with me seeing as we do not see each other very often.....Honest opinions please!!

Don't waste any more time in that relationship. Obviously, he doesn't value time with you or he would have spent every moment possible with you. The fact that he was drunk most of the time should tell you where his priorities lie. I just took a quick look at your past discussions and I'm sorry if I'm prying but you seem to choose men who don't treat you very well. Why not take a vacation from romance and swear off men for a year? That will give you time to get to know yourself better and figure out why you seem to attract men like this. It will also grow your self-confidence as you come to realize that you don't need a man to make your life complete.

If it's happen to me I can say that he doesn't have respect on me.It's vacation and fact that you're both live separately tell me that you should be treath very special by him. That's okay that he hard to not drink in his daily life -hope you can change his habit, but at least not in front of you.If I were you, I will be so much angry to him and left him all alone. He should ask sorry and promise never did it again.

I would tell him how you feel about his drinking.
