Body piercing is very visible among youngsters after celebrities on TV flaunted their pierced eyebrow, lips and most commonly the belly. Belly piercing has become a fashion statement among Indian women who love to show the small piece of naval ring hanging under their low waist sarees. But this belly piercing is not an easy job. Not only it is painful but it also bring skin infections if not taken proper care.

I have noticed that most Indian women,even older ones actually have nostril piercing.I don't know if it's actually traditional or what.I thought belly button piercing is confined to the American and European Culture.To cure any infections,it's necessary to clean the area with with soap and water, an antiseptic and paint it with iodine solution.You may also need to take antibiotics for the infection to subside.
