is there life on mars?

Are we alone in this universe or is there anything around us that we are unable to find and is there life on mars and if it is then is it a benefit to mankind or not so common lets share our views on this particular topic?

I saw this one movie which stars Jodie Foster. It was entitled Contact. It's a story about a little girl who lost her mother when she was still an infant. Her father got her into operating the radio and since then she has been, in a way, "trying" to make some kind of communication with her mother in the life beyond.
In once scene, she asked her father if he thinks there is life on other planets. The father told her that he didn't know but...(and here's the line that got me really thinking):
"if it was just us, it seems like an awful waste of space."

What an awesome line it just touched my heart and yes its silly to say that we are alone in this such a big galaxy and i think there are people outside earth also so i think we are not alone.

I have no idea, have the astronauts already gone to Mars though, they even set up something there- but Mars looks uninhabited- but I am sure something might be living there... It would be nice and interesting, as long as they (whatever they are) won't do us any harm..

Yes whatever they are if they don't harm us then it is fine so what i believe is that the research is going on and i think we have set up a satellite on mars so that we can find something.

"is there life on mars?"
Probably, depending on how you define "life". Any life found on Mars will most likely be microbial, single celled organisms. It will probably be found deep in the soil or under the polar caps. Although it may not be as exiting as an actual intelligent civilization, it will still be the most profound discovery man has ever made should it be found.

Yes if we tend to find whether if life persist on mars then it will be a very big achievement for human beings and it would be remembered for generations to generations so i think the research is going on and we can still find it.

Yes it is still a mystery and i just wonder that it would be so exciting if there is life on mars or for that sake any other planet and i just wanna travel to space to see the life their.

Yes seeing is believing and yes it is still not proved that there is life or not on mars but the research is still on and hope that one day we come to know about it and can experience it.
