CashGopher question....

June 18, 2011 3:51am CST
I was looking through some old posts and came across one about CashGopher. Apparantly it's done by the same people as mylot. But this was months ago. As it involves downloading software, something I never do as I have had some really nasty virus's in the past, I thought I would ask if anyone has anything to say about it. Is it still run by the mylot team? Is it safe? Does anyone actually make any money from it? Opinions please....

CashGopher is run by the same people as MyLot and so you can trust it to pay you. The download does NOT contain any virus (though some AV programs may object to it) and nor is it unsafe to use it. It categorically does NOT access any personal data on your PC or compromise security in any way. I have been using it since September last year and have received a payment automatically (in the same way that MyLot pays). I am in the UK and find that I average about 3 or 4 cents a day using it. OK, that's not a lot, I know, but, since it is a set-and-forget program (the most you have to do is to close pop-up windows from time to time), it doesn't cost me any time at all but just adds something to my general earnings. Of course, if you can get referrals, you will earn 25% of what they earn, too. Every little helps!

Thank you very much owlwings. I shall give it a try. As you said it's something for nothing really. I was just a little worried about what it might do to my computer.

I tried to download and install it when it first came out but could not get it to install. I have not tried of late so maybe I should again. Avast is a lifesaver as far as the computer is concerned, in my opinion. And the best part is it is free to download and use.

They have updated it considerably, ManleyJoe, and sorted many bugs. I am very happy with Avast. I used AVG for many years (and it is still good) but Avast is easier to use and seems to do more.

u won't earn millions by it, but there is no way u can get money easier than with CashGopher, the software doesn't have any virusses in it, although some anti-virusses will say it do have an virus but it doesn't. if u search for something on the internet, sometimes u will get an pop-up with adveriting in it, just close it and u got ur money. they pay u automaticly when u have $10 (or $20, u can change that). Also there is a refferal program, so u can earn a little extra if u join orther people :-) Hope this helped you, goodluck and happy CashGophering!
