Hey there,
The company I am working for is getting acquired. The term used is acquired due to we will be adapting the other company name and its policies. Its actually more of a merger with our company bending over.
Anyway, its all been quite. I really hate it if they pop up some BAD NEWS out of the blue.
So I am writing this. What am I to expect? What usually happens in these acquisitions?
( I tried googling it but it gives me some general incoherent information)
Ohh by the, should I be worried and polish my resume now.
Thanks.

The new companies work culture could be different from the one you were working in earlier.I know a place where some employees of a merged company are doing well. Some others have left.I feel it depend on you,if you are wiling to adapt and work hard there could be a good future. On the other hand you could use your expertise and join a new company.
