Mylot Earnings And Your Geographical Location

Australia
June 18, 2011 8:35am CST
Hello every one i just had a small little question, dose mylot earnings depends on your geographical location ? That some one from the US may be earning earning more to write a post than some one else posting from any other corner of the earth. Is it like this ? The people from selected countries earn more while others earn less ? And yesterday i was reading a discussions where users claimed to be making $0.55 to $2 per day, is that really true can we make that much money each day if so how? How many posts do i need to make ? because right now i am earnigs ten times less than that amount.

You have to work if, but yes it is possible. I have some friends who are no longer active at mylot, but one of them frequently earned over $3 a day. The other one would sometimes make $2 some days. I don't think that where you live has any relevance. You get paid for what you do here. One of the old users taught me a lot about earning. I do very well by just chatting back and forth with people. I'm not trying to make a bunch of discussions and I'm not trying to do a posting marathon. Having lots of different threads going as your discussion grows Ames money for everyone involved. You get paid for what you do and we get paid for what we do. if you happen to see Mydianait she can teach you a lot. The main thing is to have fun. Making money should NOT be your primary reason for being here. If it is, you will get disappointed.

Hi PQ and binggaling! It is so encouraging to see new users actually testing out the advice that is given to them by many of us. It is so rewarding when they come back and see that they have realised that what we said was indeed what myLot said too and that they have seen the results Further down admin has clarified that geographical locations do not have any effect on our earnings

After reading the discussion its really pretty clear to me that mylot is not just about money its about having fun on mylot and its about interaction with fellow user, the more you interact the more you will earn. diana is really helpful, she makes quality responses and her responses are really helpful in understanding mylot for newbies like me.

Wow! I never read about that in the FAQ given by myLot. And yes, in my stay here in myLot I can see it is hard to earn 0.55$ to 2$ just by means of participation. I would love to hear what the administrators would comment about this. I'm sure they'll find a way to hear this topic out and answer it. This one is mind boggling. Oh well, just post away. Only the administrators can answer this themselves.

When you see the next earnings update it will take into consideration that you now have a star. You will see a difference in your earnings after 100 (as I told you in an earlir post). I agree that ONLY admin can answer this query and that users can only speculate.

I am usually in Italy but have been in UK for the past few weeks. In both countries, if I am actively participating in the discussions with responses AND comments then I can reach payout by the middle of each month. If you start a topic and it receives responses YOU do not earn for them. Those who post them will earn for them, no matter in which country they are. If YOU want to earn then you should comment on the responses and turn your topic into a discussion. Then, and ONLY then, will you be earning too.

"yesterday i was reading a discussions where users claimed to be making $0.55 to $2 per day, is that really true can we make that much money each day if so how? How many posts do i need to make ? because right now i am earnigs ten times less than that amount" It IS true - but YOU must DO something if you want to earn. Just sitting back and watching while others post means that they are earnings and not you. MyLot does NOT pay us to post. We earn for DISCUSSING! You don't have to make a certain number of posts but you do have to be actively discussing if you want to see your earnings increase.

alamsher I am sorry that I stressed this twice here in my response and comment but if I got the message across to you and you are now going to put it to good use then it was worth it! I am certain that you will see the benefits of commenting and discussing from tomorrow onwards

Well thank you for the advice i will now surely participate in my discussions regulary and try to comment on each response and try my best to turn the topic in a discussion. From now on i will actively dicuss on each topic. And comment on the comments by other users on my response first i just used to ignore comments by other users on my responses.

alamsher007 no indeed not it just depends on how much you do and the quality of what you do and also the number on your star if you have yellow or red of blue you will make more. location has not one darned thing to do with it. you get paid for whatever quality and amount ?? Myof work y you do.Whatever made you think that location would make any difference at all. Mylot does not discriminate that way. You are accusing mylot of payhing more to us in the US and thats mot so.If we americans make lousy responses we will earn lousy just like anyone else doinglousy work. my lot does not pay by location it pays by your personal quality of work you do.Quality is paid no matter where you hail from.. I make from 55 to 1.00 dollar a day because I do write quality posts not because I am in the US.what an awful accusation to make.thats dreadful and mylot would not stayh here long if they did that.

The sad thing is that some take a lot of convincing that it is NOT like that The user who started this topic has now realised that we all have equal earning opportunities here and I sincerly hope that GAA will come to clarify any remaining doubts too.

Let me assure you, everyone's earnings are calculated the same way regardless of the location. Geographic location is not a factor in your earnings.

GoAskAlice just cleared it up for all of us to know that earnings are not geo-location based but that was just as brief as it could be.

Hello my friend, Actually I can say unlimited earning here you can wherever you are as soon as your active in participating and discussing here in mylot. As long as you can post and response, comments earning is yours. No particular location are better than other all depends on your effort give to your discussion and comments.. so go go go for participation here... then openly use mylot search engine for seldom rewards...

Well after all these responses i now know that mylot is all about being active the more active you are the more you will earn, and your location does not depend on your earnings but it is the quality of the work, it is the quality of your responses and comments that really matters, and i have been using the mylot search bar and i am being rewarded almost daily for using it, it really helps to increase your earnings.

I don't know that location has anything to do with your earnings. I believe that it is totally possible to make 55 cents per day as I have done that before. I always try to figure that I am making a penny per post and so I try to do 50= posts per day, but I can't always find time to do that. Also, your posts can't be one or two lines. They need to be of quality and they need to be longer than just one sentence.

To my understanding, earning is base on your participation. If you post a discussion an i reply i get paid, and you reply you get paid.if you have a lot of referral you can also earn a lot, even by doing task. So you reply with quality content you get paid,But basically it just participation and quality.

MysDianait, I guess what you are saying is you would like to help others learn how to maximize earnings. So for that would like to learn how to earn more, all she is taking about is send her a pm if you are her friend already or add her as a friend and shoot pm when she accepts, accepting your friend request by MysDianait wouldn't take time because she is mostly here.

@tash01 After reading all the responses it clear that we mylot earnings do not depend on the geographical location of the user instead it depends on the quality of the content that the user writes, and his reputation, the higher the quality the more he earns, the higher the reputation the more he earns. @binggaling The mylot search feature is great way to increase your increasing I am using it frequently and the reward really does helps a lot in boosting your earnings on mylot.

Exactly and for that reason I hope admin will appear to clarify. It is not for us users to suggest that this is the case or not as we have no idea when nothing is mentioned anywhere that it might be.

I think Diana you are right only the admins can give the right answer to the question, as nothing is mentioned about it in the FAQS nor in the terms of mylot. And Stine you are right you did not said that these tiers apply to mylot you used the word "guess" in your first post but most of the people did not read the post clearly so Sorry for Blaming you at the first place for writing something that you did not know if it exists or not.

Stine you donot need to be careful it is the other people who need to be careful while reading posts, as just not reading the word guess or not reading your post properly lead every one blaming you for giving a wrong response. I think people should read the posts carefully at least once before responding on commenting on them.

The one who is earning that much maybe very active and was never tired of sharing his idea below each post... I also didn't earn that much here. But I was able to accumulate about 50 usd since I started in 2009. I am not that active here, but I always check my account and read friends discussions. Then give comments if I have something to share too. :-)

The Discussion Rating System is just that, a rating system NOT for voting! It should not be used as in a popularity contest

Stine I don't have a problem at all. In English, rating and voting have different implications. We rate posts not individual users here (at least that is what we are told to do in the FAQs)
• Australia
18 Jun 11
What do you mean you need to rate other discussions and posts by other users and what does the star represent above our names ? And if you earn more if you have a higher reputation than how i get more reputation i mean how do i increase my reputation ? And is it true people with more reputation earn more is it in the FAQs or the terms ?

Wow, the best I can make right now is about $0.44 per day, and it is not every single day though. At least I spend more time here, doing the posting and comments, otherwise, if I am lazy, that is a different story. I don't know about the geographical issue here, but I never heard such thing though. So, everyone is equal here, and try to do your best to make more money from mylot.

kingparker everyone is indeed equal and everyone has the FAQs available too. If you followed the advice given in them your earnings would increase too. MyLot is not about starting lots of topics it is about COMMENTING back to the responses and turning them into a DISCUSSION. If you do that THEN your earnings will increase.

Oh. So tiers are levels or classes and I learned from one of the posts here that my country belongs to the third tier. Cool. I just hope admin will also increase our earnings even if we come from the lowest tier since global crisis has also hit our part of the world.
