If life were a bed of roses?

If that were the case I wouldn't say no. I think that it might work out. Look, if you took some elements of life as we know it now and plant them into the ideal life, we would all be very excessive and have everything. We would never be bored because human nature gives us the ability to find excitement on many different levels. I feel that everything would be the same except there would be no poor people, thats it.

Ah, but life IS a bed of roses! It comes complete with the thorns, which tend to make the roses harder to harvest and make them more precious as a flower. Everything worth having will be surrounded with thorns we must sidestep, conquer or learn to live with. So, you see, even though life is a bed of roses, it will never, ever get dull enough to call it quits...at least nor for me.

hi we would be so spoiled and bored and just tired of the sameness. I think the trials of life are there to remind us of how good life is most of the time;if we were never challenged we would never grow and learn and become better people.Problems bring us up to solve or live with them, and once we decide to solve them then life is once agan happy and good.We then appreciate what we have a lot more. no we need some thorns and trials among all the good so we can realize how good our goods can be.

hi didi, for some people bed is with roses and for some peaple bed with thorns,but mine bed is neither roses nor thorns that is normal bed,for the time being i am comfortable only the pinching thing is my first son's marriage and some money keeping in my wife's account after me,have a nice day

That maybe a blessings but there must be balance for life. Because if were not suffer something jealous or anything. Life seems not being completed without any disturbance in life, right? I think about simplicity and completeness but still don't understand if all things get better. There is no poor or rich all of us do not need any money. What will be a worse...

Not sure I agree. My life isn't a bed of roses, and I truly hate it. I beg God to end my life, and the sooner the better. It would be amazing if life was a bed of roses for even a week. Just to be happy for a little while, instead of just waiting for time to go by, and this boring life to end.

Well, all roses have thorns so a bed of roses appears to be a bed of thorns to me and I'd prefer not to be bothered..

The thing is, we, humans, are complicated. Too much work and pressure leads to complaints. Too much relaxation leads to boredom, therefore also leads to complaint. I also would love to have more days off of work but when I was a bum, there were also a lot of times when I wished I had a job. This experience is my full basis of my statement above. We have to keep things in moderation in order for us to enjoy life. Too much of anything is bad, I know you also believe this, or at least have heard of this.

Hello life of no one is bed of rose whether a person is wealthy, healthy or not. If life have not any challanges than it is not life. It is my opinion that nothing is perfect in the Universe. If rose have pleasent fragnance and silky touch it also have throne.

If life were a bed of roses, we would all be full of thorns. I'm not sure way you think being a rose would be dull and monotonous. There are several beautiful roses.

If life would have been a bed of roses the life would be dull and boring and we would have never ever felt that same happiness as we do on achieving different things.Therefore God has made the life perfect and it is on our determination to make our life good or bad.

Hi DoctorDidi, I agree that we all need challenges in life and a bed of roses would soon get very boring. I also agree that it would not have been a blessing to us but rather a curse. We should be thankful for all our experiences. Blessings.

If life was a bed a roses I would be happy! I would not have trouble building my confidence! I would not have trouble with losing weight and maintanceing the weight I would like to be at! I would be finacially secure,too! The rest of my life I would not want it as bed of roses becuase it would get to boring!

I agree with it being so monotonous. We will no longer be challenging our minds and heart. Let's just use a husband and wife scenario. If everything is in a bed of roses, I would imagine the two no longer interacting. If ever they are, it would only be shallow conversations, no challenge at all.

Well, I really do not think it will because of its same uniform type. It will roses only, why roses onl;y? Life will be a blessing if you have mixtures of all flowers so to speak as in real life where you have different types of people, things and cultures that make the world a better place to stay in.

Life can be a bed of roses. Just remember the stalk of the roses are very thorny. If we choose just the good things in life to remember it will be like roses - beautiful and smell nice. But we tend to always touch the thorn parts of the stalk with the roses stick to it and we get hurt. As the bible says Love covers a multitude of sin. Roses hides the the rest of the thorns in roses. Roses or no roses it's depends on how you look and handle life. Like I said it can be a bed of roses or a bed of sharp thorns! ouch!
