How many people remember what Runescape was like before the Grand Exchange?

I have played Runescape for a long time, and I remember what it was like to trade before the Grand Exchange changed everything. For those of you who have played Runescape before the Grand Exchange, what did you like/dislike about trading player-to-player? How did the Grand Exchange make things easier/harder for you to earn money?

I have no idea. My brother would he has played it since the beginning and he was very young. He has been a paid member since he was around 12 or so so around 2004 I would guess but a free member much longer then that.
He doesn't play it much anymore but he still updates his membership and plays it occasionally I think he is finally about burnt out on it but anyway I think he preferred it prior to the Grand Exchange and sadly I don't even know what that means lol, but I heard him mention the "Grand Exchange" a long while back and got the feeling he preferred the old way.
