Vacation spots (Philippines) - on a tight budget

hi there! my girlfriend and I are planning to have a vacation this coming September and we are somewhat confused where to go. we have barely been to anywhere in the Philippines and sadly we really don't have any ideas on the best parts of the country - well except of course those famous spots! we are also traveling on a tight budget and would prefer to be in a cheap place and with good food. we are so excited because this is going to be the first we are going to leave from work for 3 to 5 days. please please help me out. we kinda have a these options and i would welcome any suggestions: vigan, siargao, camiguin, boracay and bohol. you guys might know some place else. please we need your help!

I know many places in the Philippines. Since you asked not the famous spots then I will give you some that I know. The Calaba river in Abra which looks like a Boracay beach to me because of it's semi white sands and pristine blue waters, the cottages are for free. The Callao Cave in Tuguegarao City, once it was the church of locals of Tuguegarao but now its a tourist spot there. Casiguran Aurora has a lot of fine white sand beaches and it was called undiscovered paradise. Thats all for now and just reply in you want to know other unfamous but beautiful distinations.

wow. this is cool! i like what you have mentioned here because it sounds like these places are really "undiscovered." I realized these are also in Luzon, right? Do you have any place around Visayas or Mindanao, too? thanks so much. happy mylotting!

why not try Palawan??? that's a very cool place hope i can go there someday, hehehe

Have a nice time. I have been to the Philippines once, and that was just to Manila. It was on a business trip, but I was so impressed and enjoyed going around in the city. I did not have the chance to visit the beaches, hope to do that next time. Have a nice holiday !
