Is there anything strange about not having a favorite color?

I have not been able to decide which color is my favorite for the longest time. I don't think it's strange, but, I feel like I should have one. I have always had one.
It makes buying things easier. If you are going to buy a dress, and your favorite color is purple, you'll know that you would want the purple one.
But I always have to stop and think about which dresses I already have, and what color I do not have yet.
I don't like purple because I already liked purple a while ago. Green is so boring. Everyone likes blue. I would like to invent my own color. Or maybe pick out something unusual, like teal or chartreuse.

It is not strange if we do not have a favorite color.
Because, the number of colors in the world are many and varied.
And one color may not match with many conditions,, whether by day or night, whether the events outdoors or indoors, whether formal or non formal.

There is nothing strange about not having a favorite color. In fact, I do not know what is my favorite solid color now. I'm trying to figure out what colors to use for the inside of my house, but I cannot. Maybe I will stick with similar colors, except for the awful orange-ish color in the dining area. Most of the house is a nice shade of blue, but it is too much blue since every room is that color. I never did like yellows, but I am warming up to that color now, it does not bother me so much. Yet, I still do not want it painted on my house. Yellow is a warm color, and anything mixed with it will have a yellowish hue. I like the cool colors, but they can give the impression of a cold environment. It is so hard to choose colors that will give a nice warm feel when they are not warm colors.
It is nice you have such a great appreciation for colors. You have more flexibility in purchasing clothes, accessories, and even painting your home.

We all have different preferences. My favorite color ? You can see that in my name. Green and blue have been my favorites all along. Many things in my house are of shades of green and blue. They make me feel relaxed and refreshed when I walk into my house after a long stressful day at work.

I don't think it is strange to having no favorite color, maybe you just need enough time to figure out what specific color that attracts and fascinates you. Personally, my favorite color is Pink and every time I saw Pinkish thing I am easily attracted into it, most of my personal belongings are in Pink shade. Other favorites are Peach and Lavender.
Just try to observe yourself which color you become easily fascinated with when you are in a department store or elsewhere and when that color attracts you easily, maybe that is your favorite color.

Hi lilba catapillar: For me this is not a problem. I don't have only a favorite color. In my case colors red, dark blue and black are good to me. I also used to wear white. These are my favorite colors and I like the tones that create a serious atmosphere that fits with my nerdy personality

Hi lilbaby this happens to me also every time i go to purchase clothes. When you don't have liking for any particular color than you tend to like every color.
I always like blue but when i go for shopping i end up bringing black one this is because i like blue but not that much strongly that i limit to purchase only blue dresses. This depends on person to person how particular he feels for particular color it cannot happen that if some one like green he will always wear green.

Nope i do not find it weird or strange if people do not have favorite colors. Hihi i mean though i like the color green i am not always fond. Of buying items that are only color green... I mean people would not know i like the olor because i do not have thingsonly of my favorite color.. And actually i also admit that i do not habe consistent color that i like. I used to prefer pink and purple... Hehe

I don't think it's strange. You just don't have any color preference that's all. Actually, not having a favorite color would help you choose faster unlike people who has a favorite color. For example, you're buying a dress and black really looks good on you but you're favorite color is purple, then you would have to think several times whether you're going for the color that suits you best or the color that would please your eyes.

Personally, I don't think that there's anything strange about not having a favorite color. Whether you have a favorite color or not, it really shouldn't matter. If you do have a favorite, great. If you don't, that's great too. That's the way that I see it.

No I don't feel there is anything strange with not having a favorite color because I don't think I have a favorite color because I favor many. I do enjoy lots of them and really depending on the style I may prefer it several different shades then say one type. I will say there are some I don't really care for but then if I see it on a specific type of style I may just like it. So more on the style then I am into actual type of color.

No, it's perfectly normal. Everyone has to switch up their lives in a weird way every once in a while. My favorite color has been green a majority of the time, other times it's been black, and blue. Just imagine if you were five and said, "Yellow will be my favorite color until the day I die!" and then on your wedding day, you don't want to wear the yellow dress, lol. Don't over think it so much, it's natural to change your mind.
