Thinking about the afterlife

When we die were do we go? What happens to our bodies, our mind, and our soul after we have past away. Do we remain on earth as only as a thought in someone's mind? What keeps us bound to the ones that we loved

Read the bible, please. It will answer many of your questions and clarify your doubts. Take it as a challenge from me. Read it from start to end (Genesis to Revelation), and see if it doesn't change your life while giving you the answers you are looking for.

Why is the Bible anymore authoritative than the Qur'an, the Vedas or any of the many other sacred texts that can serve the same ends. There is no one answer.

I have read the bible but I still come up with thoughts on other ideas of what might happen to us. I mean there is so many ghost sitings and that again makes me wonder if we die and either go to heaven or hell .. Then why do some lost souls supposedly stay on earth and haunt people or whatever it is that ghosts do

Do you believe afterlife superstitious thought? I never believe there is any existence soul remaining in this world roaming around our real people. We might just cremated to ashes, or we simply vaporized within this world. After it, We just can't imagine what would it be. That is life.

Grr scientists need to explore this field more. Well I take That back, I'd rather the afterlife to be a mystery

I dont think about what the afterlife will be like,i know heaven will be lovely to reward the good and hell really bad to punish the evil.i do think about the practicalities though such as how relationships and spending time with loved ones will work.i have heard one theory that when you die you go to a kind of waiting place where you wait for everyone who is important to you and you all cross over together however this wouldnt work as the people you wait for would have to wait for people who would have to wait for people who would have to wait for more people and so on so you wiuldnt cross over untill the end of the world.my other major question is if you have either twowives or husbands you really love which do you spend eternity with is it the first,the oneyou loved the most or both or is it based on different criteria.
