wow, all of those are my favorite foods, those are called Dinner... hehehe
if cooked by our mother, then it is called Supper
my question:
if those listed are not considered as healthy foods, why is it that the government is still allow that business to run on public????

Because the government can't control What we eat. All they can do is make sure the beef is safe. One can go and get A plain burger with no cheese , That's what I get. if the Government Tried to stop this both citizens and business would Riot! or worse like most things , it would go underground. Meaning there wuld be unregulated beef being cooked in back street places. And people would get more sick.

I consider myself some kind of expert on healthy living. (age 77, still working everyday, have not had a medical checkup for 30 years)
I enjoy Subway occasionally, and Never eat at Wendy's or MacDonald s,ever! I'm not surprised that Subway has a few Selections that could classify as unhealthy, but there are plenty of healthy selections. Its the customer's choice so why dice Subway?

Hi sarah: In my town there's only a McDonalds place. I went there once and honestly I felt dissapointed. Yes the burguer I buy taste good but it was just normal. I prefer to eat on the places I enjoy and tnote those ones that have a lot of promotion and at the same time I try to eat small portions and not all I can eat. That's not a good way to take food.

Well, fastfood products aren't healthy to begin with. But fastfoods never go out of business because people love it since it's best for people who're always on the go and it's delicious and affordable too. But people should just eat it once in a while.

Are you serious that Sonic Bacon Double Chesseburger are more healthier than Subway B.M.T? I'm really surprise with that. I think I'll change my order the next time I go to the mall to eat.
I always eat Subwat Chicken Teriyaki, because I used to think it was healthier than eat hamburgers and stuff like that. Chicken Teriyaki sandwich is pretty good, but if I had to chose between a burger and Teriyaki, I obviously would pick the burguer. Now I think I'll.

When I go to Subway, I like their 12 inch ham sub with cheese, and lots of vegetables. I don't go for all the special stuff, all the special sauces, etc. I just like my vegetables, It's like having a salad on a sandwich, and that's the way I like it. The other stuff on the list, I can do without.

I'm your polar opposite. I don't like vegetables. I prefer a plain burger, no cheese.

I think it all has to do with the fat content. But I'm no Food Nazi so I'm only guessing.

Has Subway claimed that ALL of their subs were healthier then other fast foods? I thought they just maintained that they have a bigger line of healthier options. Does it give stats on these burgers and what the fat grams etc are on them? I would imagine that most of the other burgers from those restaurants can't be that far behind. I know that all the new angus burgers from mcdonalds are pretty high in fat content.

When they show fat people falling off things and breaking furniture, They Are implying that All their food is better for you than Any burger. And yes, the article by Yahoo does state the fat and sodium count.

Subway's never claimed that all of their sub options were healthy. They have only maintained that a certain number of subs come in at under 6 grams of fat and about 300 calories or lower, this is without cheese or mayo. Those include the turkey, veggie, chicken, and ham. It's all sectioned off on their menu with a heading pertaining to those stats.
To be honest, isn't it just some plain common sense to realize that a six inch meatball grinder or an Italian sub stuffed with high fat/sodium meats is the same as eating a fast food burger from McDonald's or Burger King?

How dare they put my favorite Baconator on this list?!
And where is KFC's Double Down?!
I'll take out the 2 Subway entries, and the pizza (because I'm not sure if the local Pizza Hut sell slices), will leave me with 7. And then this list could be my weekly lunch schedule!

Fast food is not healthy meals. Adults understand but sometimes we can't avoid for consume it. Children like it very much because they don't understand the dangerous behind.
In my opinion, fast food will not harm you if you do not consume it every day. Obesity, hypertension, and diabetes are some diseases caused by fast food. Since I don't have much money and we live far from the city, we consume it occasionally.

I think it is fast food as a daily thing Plus lack of exerise. That's why there are so many overweight people.

Yes, you are right, exercise is needed but doesn't enough because fast food doesn't contain balance nutrition. In my country, food health must contain carbohydrate, meats (protein), vegetables, and fruits. I have ever heard that in USA there is a term Seven Basic Food. The healthy food must contain these seven basic nutrition in balance composition such us:
1. carbohydrates,
2. protein,
3. fats,
4. vitamins,
5. minerals,
6. fiber, and
7. water.
We can't live healthy if we just consume fast food and exercise because fast food contain substances that harm the body if taken continuously for long periods. For example, cooking oil that is used continuously become saturated and it is dangerous to health.

So I will live unhealthy and happily ever after. The Food Nazis have been telling me for 20 + years that I am a moron because I don't eat Breakfast. But I did well in school. That I will be so fat if I drink soda , but I have lost weight since I ave started drinking soda. and that my life will be shorter because of my diet. All I can say is bring it! I rather be happy with the food I eat and live a shorter life than eat what the Food Nazis Say I Must eat and live a longer life.

I don't think this is very accurate unless you can provide fat, carbohyrdate, calorie and sodium information. If you are going to try to claim this as true, provide me with some facts to go on, like studies showing this to be true. Otherwise, who knows if you are just making this up or it's food you don't like?

In the uk Subway hasn't really demeaned burger eatres in that way,I never thought that all subways range was healthy i just thought they had more choice of healthier food. I don't really think it matters how unhealthy the food is as your not supposed to eat it very regularly its supposed to a treat every so often a healthier sub would be better than a big mac if you were having it regularly.

I'm often at Mcdonald's so I have to watch out for that BBQ bacon. I was always aware that fast foods offer bad things to you so just to be safe, I'll just limit myself from going in.

Since you have to plan to go, just pick a place where the food tastes good, not where They say They are the healthiest. And enjoy. You are not eating there Every day.

YUCK! I wouldn't touch most of those. Subway's sweet onion chicken teriyaki has my heart though. I don't know people can stuff some of these things in their mouth without getting sick. I tried a bite of Burger King's Triple Whooper and couldn't even swallow it, I had to spit it out. Gross gross gross. So fattening, it's like you could feel full for a few hours on one of these or actually space out the timing in your day you eat and enjoy healthy meals.

The only thing I like is a plain Angus Burger, no cheese no other fixings . I agree with burger King because I don't like my burgers Broiled. As for feeling full, I love that feeling. But then again I only eat once a day. I don't care about it being fattening
