Yesterday started the U-17 World Cup in Mexico, but my nation's team only is going to play on Monday so I didn't watched any game so far. Anyone here also is watching this tournament?
I like to follow these (U-17, U-21..) juniores tournaments, because they are going to be the future of the adults teams.

I have watched the game France-Argentina which ended 3-0 for France. I was astonished to see many players with great quality, and lot of team work and aggression, especially from the France team. I think a few of these players will become huge stars in the future, if they will keep up the hard work and will focus on football, and not with the glamor which comes with it.

Yes France have some top quality players, you should have a look at a young lad called M'baye Niang he is a striker that plays for the French U-17 team and is 16 and already playing first team football at his hometown club Caen and he played 7 games for them and notched 3 goals not bad for a first season at such a young age. He's scored against Rennes, Toulouse and Marseille all of which are not bad teams.

I have watched many games till now, especially Germany's games, and it is impressive how well they play. Of course, the majority of them are Turkish, but they really play very good. I guess they will go all the way and win it, but I am afraid that this Turkish players who play for Germany are not so mentally strong as the native Germans are.

Yes, France made a great World Cup. But, on the quarter of final, I have to say that Mexico played better and deserved the victory. It was a very tough game and after the the first period the game was equal, but on the second half Mexico showed a better football. Also, the home support made a difference.

I agree that it is always cool watching the younger kids play and knowing that they are the superstars of tomorrow and there is also not very much other good soccer on right now but in comparison to the actual world cup the pace is slow and the game is just not quite as good.

I agree with you. There is no comparison between the real World Cup and the U-17 World Cup. There are only a few matches that worth to see, because in the others matches the players make a lot of bad mistakes, but, of course, this is normal because of their ages. The only other international soccer tournaments that is happening right now is the U-21 Euro. On July, it's going to start the U-21 World Cup and that tournament is going to be sooo much better.

How nice! If it was in my country I totally would go to most games as I could too. I love to watch international tournaments, specially when is soccer. I can't wait for the 2014 World Cup, it's going to be in my country. And gladly my city was one of chosen on to host the games, I'm already saving money to buy the tickets.

That is amazing, i would love to watch any form of world cup. I take it your also monitoring Mexico's performances in the Gold cup because they are my favorites to win in my opinion they play the better football and i did watch them play over here in England at Wembley, your fans were very mellow and quite open to talk to, had a good time with them there, your fans are so passionate as well, it was a good game at Wembley a lot of passion and a good atmosphere the Mexicans brought and sold out the away seats and they was a real joy to watch they brought so many tickets that some of the Mexicans had to sit with the home fans but we didn't mind, as for the US they barely sold out the seats and only chanted U.S.A which was a shame.
