I love doing poetry! Unfortunately I don't have the time to think. That's what's keeping me from producing a lot of poems. The most I could do back then was twice a month. Slow huh?

From childhood's hour I have not been
As others were; I have not seen
As others saw; I could not bring
My passions from a common spring.
From the same source I have not taken
My sorrow; I could not awaken
My heart to joy at the same tone;
And all I loved, I loved alone.
Then- in my childhood, in the dawn
Of a most stormy life- was drawn
From every depth of good and ill
The mystery which binds me still:
From the torrent, or the fountain,
From the red cliff of the mountain,
From the sun that round me rolled
In its autumn tint of gold,
From the lightning in the sky
As it passed me flying by,
From the thunder and the storm,
And the cloud that took the form
(When the rest of Heaven was blue)
Of a demon in my view.

I like to write poetry, just haven't done if for years. I do, however, make & write my own greeting cards for friends and family.

Hi! I would love to write poetry, but I'm afraid I'm not very good at it. I've been doing some research into learning how from other poets who teach the tricks of the craft, but I haven't progressed very far. :-)

I love writing poems, and poetry,
It is one way for my train of thought to roll along and easily Express itself :D get it hehehe :) . Poetry is very healthy to cheer anyone up at certain times. I get sudden inspiration on and off to write most of my best poems were written that way.
