Scratch is a programming language designed by college students at MIT. You can have a look at it at the website: scratch.mit.edu
It is good for begginers, as well as more advances users. It is made using Squeak Smalltalk. It is easy to modify, as they supply source code. And their are usually many people on the forums :D
