Honest people are the new heroes of this society..

Yes i agree with this, people now a days don't have the courage to speak the truth especially when it comes to money. Almost every people lie in every way they can. This makes the world a nasty place to live in. That's why when someone tells the truth or become honest, people think that they're a a bit odd.

Whenever a cashier gives me too much money by mistake, I always return it, no matter how large the sum is. I'm a Christian, so it's not me being noble, it's me doing what God wants me to do. I'm just doing what God wishes...it makes life so much easier.

Friend it is very difficult to find out honest people not only in the society but also in all over the world. No one is honest even we also because behind us anybody can tell no they are not honest so we are also not honest. At least related to money matter no one is honest even some time our family members also.

It's been said that honesty is the best policy. It sounds like the simplest thing in the world, but being truly honest with others and with yourself can be a real challenge. Political correctness, being sensitive of other people's feelings, and facing uncomfortable truths about yourself usually requires lots of patience, vigilance and hard work.

i agree. honest people.. yes, they sure are one of the heroes we have in this society that we have.. in this time that money is so hard to money, life is hard.. it takes one great person to stick to his values, to live up to the expectation of people. and of yourself.

Yes I've been hearing on the news about drivers returning money and other items left by their passengers even though they also badly need money. Bless them, they are indeed heroes. What's interesting is why a lot of people forget about their important things. I swear if I'm travelling and I have with me a large sum of money, all my attention will be focused on that.

Corrupt politicians have already succumbed to their demons so it'll be hard for them to return to being honest. They can if they wanted to but it'll be hard. I know because it's just like any vices that we have. The processes that our mind undertake is pretty much the same. If a kid already how to steal a small amount of money from his parents, he'd pretty much do it again. There's also the possibility of him getting worse and stealing an handful from strangers. This can also develop into a mental sickness.

Honest people are really something to behold but technically speaking, they are not that much more rare then they were in times past, that they are today. I just think that we are exposed to far more dishonest people in this day and age, then we are honest people. Therefore, honest people do seem to be fairly rare and thus when we are exposed to them, it is really something that is a great thing. Therefore, honest is something that is really something that should be appreciated and when it happens it is. As you said, these people are often times in the heroes of the world and they are people who should be hailed for standing out with honest. However, really, honesty should not be something that should be all that noticed when it all comes down to it. It should not be something that is really rare to say the very least. It is just something that are really going to be there, something that is going to be present in many ways. It is just something that should be a common part of society. Honesty should be something that should be more common than it really is. However, sadly it is not. Therefore, those who are honest stand out above the fact and in some ways, a lot of us have been immune to the more dishonest nature of a lot of people. That is just the way that it is a lot of the time and its really sad that its that way.

It's very refreshing to hear news about such people who do such great deeds in a world where media tends to present all kinds of thieves and scammers,a fact which creates the impression that the world is full of crooks and there are few honest people,sop whenever such a case is presented it shows us that there are till many honest people,and I suppose this should also be an example for many politicians to stop following their interests at any cost,but I'm afraid they won't follow that example because they don't really care about making the world a better place,they only want things to be better for themselves.

Yes. I agree with you. Honest people are honest throughout their life. Majority are people who become corrupt on being given power. Politicians will not become people who can resist temptations because they have power and absolute power corrupts more absolutely. Common people are those who will not tell lies, who will not do something wrong for getting some undue favor. Most of them will be mylottians because these are the people who struggle, work for getting their earnings.

Hi Stanley! I rarely hear news and stories about honesty, that is why when i hear someone being honest i really share it with my son. For me, as a mother, I would like to instill in my son's mind that honesty is an important attitude we have to possess because without such character we could go wrong. Whatever career one will end up, when dishonesty is there, it will just ruin everything.
