All I could think about is Taylor. Maybe because of Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner (who plays Jacob in the Twilight series).
And Sam, too. Though it's only good for a nickname.
My good friend is giving birth in two months time and I don't know why she chose me to help her with names. And then she asked me to find names for her.
I hope you guys could help me with this. Hardly a dilemma though but here I am, stuck with the name Taylor.

Blair is nice. I like the character Blair in Gossip Girl. Thank you, Rovian.

I would advise against the sexless names. Most are totally out of fashion now. Or they have strict spellings that few people know about, i.e. Leslie (male) Lesley (female).
To be as international as possible, a feminine name should end in "a", a male name ends with a consonant.
Taylor just isn't a name, it's a profession!

I have a son named Kelly. If he had been a girl it would have been a different spelling - Kelli. I have also heard of Shawn for a girl or boy. How about Joe or Jo? There are also Billie, Bobbie and Terry as well. I actually know a girl named Jeff. I'm sure there are many others. Good luck helping your friend pick one out!

Yes, kelly is nice. Reminds me of Kelly Slater - a guy surfer and kelly - a nickname I knew from a classmate before in high school - she's a girl. Thank you, bmorehouse.

Bailey, Ryan, Morgan, Aaron/Erin (Irish saturation much? ), Billy/Billie
Head over to babynames.com and do a search! They give you the option of narrowing your search by gender or by names that work for both. I use it all the time picking names for my characters in stories.

Jordan is a great name for both girls and boys. I know someone who wanted to name their kid Jordan regardless of gender. They got a boy it suits him well! :)

Taylor, as you said, as well as Chris, Jamie, Aaron (maybe spelled different as in Erin for a girl, but sounds the same!). Try looking up a baby names website and seeing what unisex names they have listed.

A name that will work both ways.. Francis. I believe it is used for both sexes. I am a female, and also heard about a guy here with this name although pronounced different. I believe in England Francis is more common for men. Also think about francis ford coppola. Sam is a nice one too as you suggested.
Good luck totallyundecided!
