I think its important to have a broad range of taste in music..

Yes. Some people have a very narrow mind, music related. They not only listen to only one or two genres, but they also speak down on genres they don't know anything about and which they don't understand (like Hip-Hop). I listen to many genres and artists, from classical to funk, soul, Hip-Hop, rock, metal, you name it.

I think that it is fun to listen and create a variety of different kinds of music. For example, I like blues rock music, but I also enjoy singing classic, a Capella choir music. In between those two completely different generes I enjoy many more different kinds of music. I tend to like most genres except secular rap, ridiculous techno, and heavy-thrash metal.

For me there is music and there is trash noise. I am a moody person and the music I like to listen sometimes depend on my mood. There are, of course, music I can listen to at anytime of the day, and there are those that I can not listen to at all.

Ha ha, my friends usually find it strange when I randomly say I enjoy classical, or I enjoy country, or I enjoy hip hop. My range of music has been really wide. From Vivaldi, to Tupac. I listen to them all. If the song, melody, lyrics, sounds etc. are easy to listen to, I usually don't have any complaints. However, I have always been a melody/beat, fan and or lyrics fan. So if the lyrics are amazing, not just repetitive chorus etc., I am a fan. If the song has a good melody/beat that I can enjoy and not just simply noise, I am a fan. I have always listened to all music, however I am not usually a fan of mainstream music, or music that is current popular. Reason because, the artists just exploit the fans using their name, and they can create any song they like , and the fans will obviously like it. It can be a song that required only 10 words to make, and just keep repeating, people seem so like it, whereas I don't appreciate it as much. But yes, Tupac to Vivaldi. I listen to them all.
