are you excited, to see the 2nd part of the deathly hollows of harry potter movie that would mark the end of the harry potter series? i have a friend who loves harry potter and has read all the books of harry potter series.. but we were talking last saturday.. she told me she was kind of getting tired watching the series and it seems to her that they already have just tried to just finish a movie for the sake of finishing the series and the latest movies of harry potter was already not as good as the first few ones... what about you any thoughts on the harry potter movies?

I was excited about all of the Harry Potter films up until the sixth movie. They started making the films when I was ten, which was when I had just started reading the books so I was excited about those. However, I am now almost twenty one, and have most likely grown out of the books now. I just find it so boring to have to wait ten years for the conclusion of the series. They should have shot all of the movies (or at least a couple of them) so that they could release one every ten months or so, rather than dragging them out for this amount of time, which just doesn't seem to make any sense to me at all.

GEMMA: That wouldn't have allowed the actors to age, as the characters in the books did. They grew & matured. Had the literary versions stayed the same age, it wouldn't have been believable--unless Rowling had somehow written into the story the facility for witches to stay young for much longer than non-muggles--& she didn't do that. So, in order to remain faithful to her vision, the film makers had to let the actors age. Apparently, it took 10 years. well i'm still excited about the last harry potter movie..although the excitement was a lot more when first 4 book were made to movies version...Actually the problem is that the novel is very large and could not be covered completely in a 2.5 hour movie..so some plots have to be left out..and this reduces the effect of the story...but being a true harry potter fan i will definitely watch every harry potter movie :)

I only loves to watch the first 2 movies of harry porter. As for the other harry porter series, it seems quite bored watching them. Maybe the way they make the stories seems not very attractive at all. But, i will be waiting to watch the finale of harry porter, to complete this story. Hopefully, it is not a dull story.

Of course I'm excited about it! Even more so when I learned from my hubby that it will be shown here in Manila on our wedding anniversary! I've read all books from the Harry Potter series and I'm excited to see the director's take and approach on the last movie installment. The movie adaptations of the series have satisfied my expectations...definitely!

For me the last movie was the best by far. The first part of Deathly Hollows was an amazing movie and when me and my friends went to watch, everyone loved! I couldn't stop watching any minute! In my opinion, when you see the first movies, there is no comparison, especially the first one. Harry Potter and Sorcerer's Stone was a very childish movie, the latest movies weren't.

Hi! Yeah, I'm still excited to the final movie. After all, it is the ending and it is the closure for everything. And besides, I may have read the last book but it will still be awesome to see it in the movies! And I may have forgotten some parts of what had happened. And I'm excited to see all the characters come into life again!

I disagree with your friend; every one of the Potter films has been a thrilling winner! I'm sooo looking forward to seeing the last film, & I'll be sad when I have to kiss the series goodbye. Nope. I am not interesting anymore with Harry Potter. I like Harry Potter movie sequel 1 and the second. Since the actors and the actress grew up, I was not so interested. It's better to read the novel. Reading the novel makes us more developed imagination. We can imagine what kind of novel that we read with our own version.

I am excited to see it. I have read and re-read the books, first as assignments for adolescent lit class and then on my own. I have gotten this far into the series of movies, I want to see if the ending is true to the series or not. I do not think that I will go back and re-watch the movies as I have in the past before a new one comes out, but do intend to see the movie in the theater.

I absolutely love the Harry Potter movies, and I am definitely looking forward to the finale. It's funny though, because I've never actually read all of the books, so I really don't know what to expect. I read the first book dealing with his first trip to Hogwarts, but it didn't really grab my attention. I don't know, fantasy, magic, and witchcraft don't usually grab my attention all that well. But I definitely am excited. I've been watching all of the Harry Potter movies since I was a kid, and the characters in the movie have grown along with me. It's exciting to see Harry, Hermione, and Ron mature along with me. And look at them now! They're fabulous people. Just recently I saw Emma Watson in a VOGUE photo shoot. I'd say it has been a journey experiencing all the adversities and adventures the trio have faced. I'm hoping to go to the midnight screening for fun, even though I'm not an avid Harry Potter fan. Good thing though. There's so many Harry Potter fans who are so obsessed with the movie. I have a friend who is so in love with the movie that she waits day after day to receive her letter from Hogwarts. Crazy.

I agree with your friend, HP6 was probably the worst movie of the series. Pity, as the book is really good and well written. However, I liked Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I, and from what I've seen so far I think Part 2 will be even better. This time they're doing a great job, both actors and special fx are really good, so I expect this to be the best movie in HP series. Also, I've heard that JK Rowling herself monitored the making of this movie, in order to make sure that it followed the story written in the book (and we know this didn't happen in the 6th movie).

Yes, I am very excited about it, I bet many Harry Potter fans are to- since it's the last installment, it would really earn more money, maybe even more than Avatar's opening. I'm still going to watch this though, since the trailer looks exciting and I still love HP series.

Though I am big fan of J.K Rowlings and read all the series but never been excited about the movies. It was always fun reading the book as it creates different imagination on our mind. But when we watch the movies at times our imagination is completely different from what they show. I havent watch the part 1 till now nor excited for last one too.

Yes, Im still interested in the last part of the Harry Potter series. It's the finale after all and it is the most crucial part. There were some books of the series that didnt play out well in theaters but it's mainly the director's fault. They've changed different directors for the past years and some of them didn't stick to the book's idea. So hopefully, in this last part they will highlight all the most important events without making the audience feel like its a dragging movie that they wanna go out before it comes to an end.
