I feed the dogs when i saw that there's few guava fruits almost ripe already.
I am thinking to climb, but,it's raining (not so hard)
So,i took the stick that i use to hang clothes and tried to reach one of the guava fruit.
I got it,twisted the twig and pull it a little hard and "blag" the fruit drop right in my head
Ouch...(`_`) i want to take more fruit, but okay leave it there till tomorrow.
Better to climb it that hitting myself again...
let me check if i got some "lump" where the guava landed
It's raining here and too lazy now...mylotting..and okay...where's that guava fruit eh (*_*)

very gud that u had a guave tree which gives u tasty guava fruits.Should be careful while plucking them.It is not that high a guave tree grows may be the fruit which u liked is at a high branch. So only u got hurt in ur hand.Dont be lazy the squirrels which run in the garden will finish the guavas .

why didnt you try for a ladder ,or someone elder to u or taller than u.But what is the thing that made you eat a guave while its raining.Everyone would like to eat some thing hot hot and spicy in the rainy weather.

Jai beta in our old house we had many guava trees, i used to climb and pick them, but after the accident i lost that mobility of hip-joint, so i bought some bamboo pole, some net bags, made a device, if i wanted guava, i used that, it fell in to the net, safe.
Make one yourself
Try to make jam from guava very easy and it will cost you 1/10th of that in mall..
Be careful next time, na don't climb beta.
Thanks for sharing
God bless you, have a nice day ahead.

Hello Sis,
You have construction knowledge right? you could use a pole and connect a net with it instead of the hanger. it's a good thing you didn't get any kind of serious injuries in the head. . yeah, i am beginning to get lazy now because i did something else before i got into this computer. maybe i should eat...snacks

Wow, ripe guavas! But OMG you were hit by it in the head. Anyway, maybe it's just a small one, and a ripe one, so it's soft and didn't hurt much.
It made me nostalgic of my teenage years, wherein after lunch, i would climb the roof of our warehouse, just to pick guavas from a tree that has grown big and tall . The best thing is to go to the roof to be able to pick them up. I would get one and eat and pick and eat until i was full. Then, my sister would climb too and we will be so happy and would pick some and put it in a plastic bag and bring some down to our other siblings who can't climb yet. I love those carefree days !

Haven't tasted guava for years now. I saw some near the neighbors and some fruits fell on our our ground. I was looking at it but can't see any fruit that is reachable. Maybe one day I'll have of it too.

That's the price you have to pay for a guava! Next time be more careful lest you get another "bukol" again! Ha!ha!ha! At any rate, I can't blame you, fruits can be so inviting especially if it is from our own backyard and we planted it ourselves. It is always nice to eat the fruits of our labor. But make sure you eat them without hurting yourself so next time take extra care, Okay!

Hi jaiho: I love guava but that not way. Hope it doesn't hurt too much. Was it a hard fruit? When I was a kid I liked to climb on a tree we had in my house and sometimes I have experimented the same thing but with a mango and it's simply ouch.

Hehehe. =P
Well, no pain, no gain, they say. =P
Here they have something that's made especially for getting fruit from a tree. It has a long handle (stick) and there is a net at the end with something that can cut the stalk, so the fruit drops into the net and not your head. =P
