My son checking his computer accidentally clicked and reset the router again.
His computer serves as the main server, and he is cleaning his CPU when i noticed that i lost my connection.
Okay fine,he did it again..resetting the router.
The bad thing is...he did not set "again" a password,means..we're having free wi-fi connection in the neighborhood"
My connection is getting slow right now due to this public wi-fi/router.
So,i am working mylot from my son's computer (the main server) as it's working good.
And at the same time i am chatting with mylotters and talking with friends using my laptop... i can't log out there, fear to lost connection too
Have you tried this...using two computers at the same time.
Hehehe...i will log out from the laptop then..it's tiring working like this hahaha

you can have it reset once again, to put everything to right. right now, the neighbors can enjoy the generosity. hehe
so far, i haven't had problems with our wi-fi at home as it is password protected. you can come here and we can all enjoy the wi-fi. lol
before, i did try working at two computers at the same time. one is with a desktop and another with a laptop. that was when the pc at the office was connected to our server and people from different branch offices in southeast asia can connect with each other conveniently. but it does not allow skype. and since we used skype for our american colleagues, we sometimes use another laptop to connect to both.

Hi :) You neighbours are lucky then..
About sharing connection, I had tried it few times. But not for anyone else. Actually I was sharing my laptop's connection with my iphone using wifi. So I can use internet on laptop and my iphone both. But surely it decrease the speed as Internet got shared.

hello akp,
It's fine to share connection, that is why we are using a router because we have 3 units at home that shares the connection...and it never affects the speed..maybe my service provider is a good one.
have a great weekend

It is so kind of you to share your wifi in your neighborhood. In the past I wanted to share my internet with my neighbors and I even pasted a post on the wall. So we can share the internet amount and it is good for both of us. However, after some time, nobody seemed to be interested in it. So until now I still use the internet at my home only.
I love China

Jai beta
When i am here in home , we use 4 pc and laptop, mine from my room, Vidya from her room and Subash from his room and Subhee uses Laptop to watch nursery rhyme in You tube, fully protected by one password, autologging..
But while in Hyderabad, i was using my laptop using his connection, i saw 4 connections on signing in, one was that of some engineering college, meant for students probably, i used that once..
Here is Subhee, my mom, wearing a saree.
Thanks for sharing
God bless you, have a nice day ahead.

thanks for your response dear and have a great day always

It is better to have secured network. We should not allow it open. otherwise we may be held responsible for the messages, problems arising out of others using our internet connection. I hope u follow. have a good day.
We use more than three laptops in one wifi connection. of course speed will be less.

yes. that term "hacked" I could not get when I posted the comments and you have mentioned it rightly. You are secured- your wi-fi network is also secured. thanks. have a nice day.
