I never accept random and unknown friend requests on facebook. I have tons of friend requests that I haven't accepted and wont accept in the near future. Adding random people on facebook isn't a really safe thing to do since you don't know who you're adding. The person you may have just added may probably be a stalker or something. You should always watch out and investigate about the person who is requesting you.
However, here on myLot, I always accept friend requests. I accept friend requests on here because there are some people who need help with their English and feel the need to talk to someone to improve their English. And I really understand that because I used to do the same.

It's alright, Jimmy. Everyone makes a lot of grammar mistakes when they're in the process learning a different language. I understand what you mean, English is a bit hard because of the rules and such but once you get it, you won't forget it.
I suggest you start talking more often with people in English and compare how you and the other person write. Maybe you could see the difference and tell yourself when something is spelled wrong and when it is spelled correctly.

i' m strong agree what you talk about the facebook. Many people add you maybe just want to tag you on picture then start their business. But this still fine, maybe us can found out what we are wanted. Most problem is like u talk, some people maybe would do something you are not expect.
Here, i also want to improve my English. My English is so poor. Just simple grammar i also always confused. I always ask myself: Should i use this "will" or "are" or "was" and many on my sentence?
If you see my sentence got some problem, you direct tell me...haha

On Facebook I only accept people that I know. And people I know pretty well or have known for awhile. Not any old person from school who sat in my class in high school but I never spoke to once in my life. I don't like facebook much, so I don't see why I need to have loads of "friends"... especially ones that I don't know.

oh i see, i like play facebook , this site can help me know what happen for my friend when they are update,example can watch their picture upload and status, however cannot know all about their. For people i unknow, i also not delete them. Because sometime they will share some video,news and anything.
I like facebook, because this would help me know about what i unknow.

But if it's a person that you don't know... then why would you want the updates and the news from them?
I'm also pretty annoyed by people who want their facebook update status to be their way of getting their personal news out. If my friend is engaged, I want her to call me up and tell me not expect me to watch her facebook relationship status.

On here I add everyone but on other sites like facebook I only add people I know. I think it helps on here to have more friends. I like to respond to discussions started by friends.

No I haven't add people whom I don't know. I received some friend requests from people I really don't know and haven't met. I just decline their requests.
