I live in England and I haven't seen as much of it as say Australia or New Zealand. I am always keener on going overseas than having a trip within my home country. Though this month I took my disabled 4 year old son and almost 2 year old daughter to Yorkshire. We had a very enjoyable day. We stayed in one place and did day trips from it. Usually I go overseas and rush to several different places like I did in Canada last year.
My favorite countries that I have been to are Samoa, Australia, New Zealand, Belize and the Seychelles. In my home country I like the seaside, interesting cities and pretty countryside. I like to travel by train in my home country and when I get the chance abroad. This trip I didn't have the stress of airports which made me feel happy.
Which are places you like going to in your home country? Beaches, cities, mountains, countryside.
Have you got favorite places in the world that you have been to?
Are there any places on your travel wish list for the future?

It has been quite awhile since I last travel by train. I think
'ages' since I am a kid. Hmmm, perhaps I should do
some local trips by train and it would be quite relaxing, right?
I love all, be it beaches, cities, mountains or countrysides as
each one have its own magic to share. I still thinking of visitng
Prague again.... My wish list in the future will be New Zealand,
Japan, Canada, Rio de Janeiro and Portugal.

Train travel can be long and dull. So, one must prepare to ensure that we are kept occupied for the entire trip. For me, I make sure I have a sleeping berth when I do a train trip. For me, a potential trip could be to Thailand.

I've definitly seen more of the UK than I have of Norway. It takes less time to travel around in the UK, Norway is long compared to the area that you use days to go north by car or train. Well, the train doesn't go all the way and the boat's expensive. As is about everything else in this country too, so for me it's often about the same price to go somewhere else and travel around or to stay and travel around (I save the money on food etc that I use on the plane ticket)
I'm going west in a couple of weeks though. Not sure which parts of Norway I like best as I haven't been to the north yet, and it's supposed to be the most beautiful. Unless you like dramatic fjords, then the west is best.
I'd like to have a lot of money and a good car and enough time to take Hurtigruten from Bergen and all the way up north, then drive down. And visit all the Stave curch, but they're in the west mainly so it'd probably not be on the same trip.

I love visiting other countries, but I have also seen many places in my own country. A couple of weeks ago my husband and I went to on a minivacation in the southern part of my country. We spent the night in a city called Haderslev and the first dat we went walked around in the city. There were several interesting places like a cathedral and a beautiful lake. Our hotel was next to a park and a lake and the surroundings were very beautiful. The next day we drove around in the area and we visited a some of the other cities and a gallery and a park full of sculptures.
In past I have visited many of the other European countries. Last year I travelled around for one month and I visited Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Slovakia, Poland and Germany. I enjoyed the trip very, very much. One of the places that I liked the most was Bratislava in Slovakia, but it is very hard to mention only a few places, because I enjoyed every place that I visited and they were all interesting in one way or another
Asia is on top of my travel wish list. There are many places that I would like to visit for instanse India, China, Japan, the Phillippines, Malaysia and Indonesia, and I would love to travel around in Asia for several months and visit many different places.

I like visiting both other countries and places within the United States! We try to alternate whenever possible, so my kids can see as much of the world and their own country, too. Last fall we went to Aruba, and this summer we are going to Arizona. But we don't always pick beach vacations--we have gone skiing and snowshoeing and such as well. We also try to vary city vacations with beach/pool ones. My kids sometimes get bored with just going to the beach day after day, so we find interesting things to do wherever we go. I especially like archaeological/historical sites, so we are happy pretty much anywhere. I would have to say that the country that offers the most in a small amount of space (at least that I have been to) is Italy, and I would love to go back there again one of these days!

Dear Friend,
I am Sirish from India.
So far, I did not visit any country. My ambition is to visit Jerusalem. I will definetly go there one day. At present, I am happy visiting various places in India. There are many other places to visit.
India is the largest democratic country in the world. Situated in southern asia, it is a land of great cultural diversity. English & Hindi are official languages but different languages are spoken throuout the country. It is a land of rich natural resources. 'Unity in Diversity' principle is followed by us.
Its not possible to narrate much here but we in India are proud to be Indians.
If possible, please visit our country also and you can feel the hospitality provided.
Regards
Sirish M

I like going on vacation in the biggest hill resort available. It is known as an entertainment city with desirable cold weather and all the facilities and convenience which are available in any cities here. My husband and I would like to spend our holidays staying three to four night there to escape from the scorchers three to four times once a year
There are so many attractive places in some different countries which I wish to travel. I would like to visit all of them if I were to save enough expenses in the coming future This dream keeps me working hard to save money to accomplish it

I love to go to archeological sites. The older the better, tho I have really loved going to the Ancient Pueblo people's sites like Mesa Verde or Chaco Canyon.
My mom used to have a condo in Durango, CO. We took day trips out from there to the various sites in the 4 corner's area, Hovenweep, Aztec, Salmon Ruins, etc. We also took overnight trips to other sites like Canyon de Chelly (said "Shay").

Ever since I was a young boy, I travel to my country, and so far, I know it pretty good, and I like to travel to several places every chance I got. I have been to some countries too, all of them in America, and, although it is always a beautiful and enriching experience, I enjoy going out for trips in my country, it is nice and far less expensive.

Greece definitely. If I ever had a chance to travel abroad, I'd take a month off, just travelling through Greece. I'd skip the travel tours package though.
Our country offers so many beautiful places that I can't forgive myself for not exploring it more. BEfore I ever go to Greece, I promise to visit all these places in our country first.
No favorites as of yet. It would be unfair to all those places out there.
