We love to make ourself fit. We wanted to stay beautiful inside and out. Physical is somewhat important. Earlier today when I prepare my breakfast I ate chicken and a half of rice. It made me so guilty since it was so oily. Knowing for the fact that eating oily food can make you fat. I am a type of person that has slow in metabolism. My concern right now is that I wanted to know some ideas on how to make metabolism make fast so that I wont be able to gain a lot of weight. Have a good day.

If we take solid breakfast, this would jump-start our metabolism. What we need is a good, nutritional breakfast, filled with fiber, lean protein, fresh fruits or vegetables. It is better to consume five to six smaller meals than the three large ones...this will keep our metabolism active. Our metabolism needs water, in order to absorb the food. The recommended amount is at least 8 glasses of water daily. But do not drink water during and after meal because this may lead to indigestion or even weight gain. :)

Jane ! First get over the fear. Fear spoils us slowly. You ate chicken -it is ok. If u feel u have taken more of fat and oil-- reduce it in the next two feeds. Take one Digene tablet - antacid. Do not worry. Take long walks. If u can afford go to gym to exercise. have a nice day

I happen to have a naturally fast metabolism (lucky me I know) and I believe a good deal of it is simply genetics and luck. However, there are certain practices that can speed up your metabolism. Firstly, always eat breakfast, even a small amount will help as it will get your body's metabolism running in time for lunch. If you skip breakfast, you will be really hungry at lunch time and then you'll have a big meal without letting your metabolism "warm up". Another thing you should do is exercise regularly. Exercising burns calories and well when you eat you consume calories so getting the burning part of the cycle will help as well.

Try some life alterations, such as going healthy in your eating habits. Read a few diet books and decide what's best. I know that this will probably receive some cringing from other members, but try the Atkins diet. I found that once I get past the 2 week induction phase my metabolism is faster as long as I continue to add carbs back in gradually until I reach my ACE.
Exercise! Find a home or gym workout routine that works for you and stick to a schedule. Alternate cardio, aerobics, and strength training so that your body doesn't get used to one particular routine and slow back down again. Work different muscle groups and pick fun activities to indulge in.

Each and every person has been created in a special way.sometimes we would like to be like our friends, we try to do what they do and eat what they eat, but we cant change how we ere. you cant believe that when you think you have a lot fat and your metabolism slow, my case is totally opposite. this is due to the fact that am extremly skinny to a point of not getting what to wear.to make the matters worse when a strong wind blow in my presence, i find myself being blown.now i wonder if its my body mettabolism that works quite fast or what?

Oh, this is another story that I encounter. You are so right with that we can't be the person we wanted to be. I actually envy those people who are skinny because I find them sexy. I think it might be because of hereditary or your metabolism is so fast. Do you also take some vitamins? eat a lot?
