you'll need a couple of eggs, some milk, salt and sugar, you take a couple of eggs and break it into a bowl and start mixing it, add some milk to make it a bit soft, add a bit of sugar and salt, dip the bread, and fry it four eggs could probably make a dozen toasts also no need to toast the bread,

french toast - eggs
condensed milk
pinch of salt

try it with cheese-filling.

Here is a link to the general theory of making French toast, which is then extended to all kinds of other, similar recipes, and gives you a lot of great ideas for how to really expand on the basic idea of French toast, including savory French toast and dishes that are made similarly to French toast. This is really kind of a food chemistry or pattern cooking blog rather than a recipe blog, so it mostly presents general directions and gives you hints as to where to go from there for you to experiment with. http://food-face-first.blogspot.com/2011/03/french-toast-not-just-for-breakfast.html

The way I make it is get a few eggs and milk and salt and pepper, then soak the bread in it and put it in a frying pan and when it is done I like a lot of butter and pepper on mine! Yummy I like it too! Have a good day!

French toast is yummy and easy to make. You may choose from a variety of breads, even cinnamon rolls. For two average slices of regular bread you can beat two eggs, add some milk or cream, cinnamon and/or vanilla. Then dip the bread into the egg mixture and saute in butter. I like my French toast moist, so I fry lightly. You can also make the custard mixture for a large group, add the bread and refrigerate overnight, then bake the next day. You can also make stuffed French toast with a filling of cream cheese and jelly, or some fruits like bananas, or other fillings you may like. I like to sprinkle powdered sugar on my French toast before I add maple syrup. You can also top French toast with orange marmalade or any jelly, spread, or fruit.

hi jemilane, my dear friend, i laos love to make french toast. it is one of the easiest thing to make and because most of the people love to eat that, i often make them at my place. it is one of the easy , fast and good breakfast and tiffin item also but my baby dont like eggs. she dont even like the smell of it. she dont enjoy egg in any form. no omlette, no boiled, neither soft boil, nor hard boil, no scramblled, no poached , no french toast. my hubby loves it and my mother in law also love . my mother- in-law's favourite item s omlette. i make my french toast by adding little bit of milk in the the beaten egg and then beat it again for the softness, sugar, a dash, and a salt pinch of it plus some green chillies. it is really yummy when done in butter .

I always use french bread sliced around an inch thick. I usually beat 2 eggs, add around a teaspoon of vanilla, maybe a 1/2 cup sugar and probably 1 teaspoon or so of cinnamon. Add around a 1 1/2 cups milk. You can see my measurements are not exact. You just have to experiment to your own taste. Dip the bread in the mixture and fry. I used to fry it with vegetable oil, but I find that I like it better just spraying PAM on my skillet. It doesn't turn out greasy that way. It really doesn't take long to fry. I like it with strawberries on top. You can use a variety of toppings though. Best wishes!

Sorry man, I don't know how though. I usually order it from the restaurant, so I didn't bother to search the recipe for it. But if you search online, you definitely find those recipe for how to make a french toast. Good luck with it. By the way, I like the taste of it too.

Me too! I love french toast & pancakes. I usually take 3-4 eggs & scramble them up. I also add a little milk or cream to make a light yellow color. I always add a couple dashes of cinnamon & pour in some vanilla (whatever you have on hand) It's all according to taste. I don't use measurements. Then you take slice of bread (french, wheat, sourdough, cinnamon raisin)& dip it in the egg mixture on both sides. then melt a little butter in a pan & cook your french toast till brown on each side. :)- If i have nuts - pecans or walnuts, i chop them up & sprinkle on top. And, I love to top them with any fruit that i have - bananas, strawberries. I'll throw on whatever i have at the time. good luck & happy eating! :)-
