You were right "about eating slow"

Hello Lotters,
It seems that my hunger isn't that strong compare to the last few days. but probably because my special friend and other friends in mylot was right about the eating habits. i should have done it a long time ago, but i rarely do it. i never really have the will to try. when ever am tired of doing things like exercise or labor, that's when is tarted eating fast.
But i never entirely chew my food it's like sipping soup all day.
After me exercise, I decided to consider eating slow on my big mac. yeah, i felt full even though the food wasn't enough that much.
I think i need to practice this more often now if am going to loose weight.

I have been trying to do this "eating slowly" method.. But still when the hunger comes to me, i can't deny it ..making myself it fast again..
What should I do? Do I need some inspiration on this? I really can't get into the rhythm..
I have to loss weight, I must do it in every possible way, ...
Exercise must be done...running for example..but still makes me eat more.. :)

You are fortunate my friend AgentGulaman, because you are not worrying gaining weight. I'm jealous of you...
My friend LetranKnight, I have been trying to drink water as much as possible,, But i really can't resist the food especially delicious one..grrr... i hate myself..

Hello pals,
NO, it's not easy because there are moments that you will get eventually hungry. the best option there is to keep yourself drinking water all the time. if not, then you would be temp to eat food again. you need to jog, probably after jogging in you would realize that you need to exercise more

As I have suggested above for LetranKnight25, try organizing with your fellow "big" friends or colleagues a bet on losing weight. Much like the "Biggest Loser" type. The pot money will be a good motivational tool to help you out get rid of your fats. Fail to lose weight and you lose your hard earned money! Haha! Incentives really makes wonders. Why do you guys really need to lose weight when I am really desperate to gain weight. How ironic! Well, just good luck on you losing weight!

you can see French and Argentine people being slim despite of eating lots of meat because of slow eating. they dont gain weight without being deprived eating the good stuff. I need to gain weight though and you know the story behind it.

Hello Captain,
Maybe if i didn't take vitamins all those years, If i had eaten merely by will maybe i still could have been slim today. the vitamins made me this way since highschool but not as fat as today. as for me, i need to loose weight, seriously i felt so heavy when i was jogging in the neighborhood

Just keep on going, eating slowly is the best way to enjoy your favorites without worrying about calories. once you reach your goal to be healthier your accomplishments will make you feel proud.

Hmm, i will try eating slowly also. I am trying to lose some fats specially in my tummy area. I am doing one hour vigorous exercise, every other day. In addition , i now eat only a half cup of rice at night and some viand.
My pants have loosened , but still i weight the same. But my officemates said my tummy's smaller.
I will try that too.

One hour vigorous exercise? i am not sure if i can exercise the next day if i go for an full hours on my treadmill. it's not easy loosing weight lately. i recalled working and then my family realizes that i was loosing weight because of the work i had before. but it wasn't the same when i took the other job, i kept eating

Yeah! You better eat slowly, savor your food and chew it nicely. It helps the digestive system be more effective. Also, it helps proper absorption of the food that you eat. Eating fast causes ineffective digestion resulting for part of the food you've taken to just accumulate in your body in the form of undesirable fats. I suggest you time first your chewing before swallowing to start with the habit. Also eat more vegetables and less rice. Vegetables are easily digested by the body and is sure to be excreted out of it. But still, the best way is to exercise daily. Drink lots of water too to fill in.

oh, my am sleeping late again. i sure hope that i can wake up enough to do the exercise thing. i hope i can do this again tomorrow because i couldn't afford to stall again. i will try my best not to eat too much rice. it's probably hard at first though, but il get to it sooner or later. have a nice day

Yeah, not eating rice is hard to do. I had my brother practicing not eating rice during dinner. Don't rush too quickly though. Do it gradually to help your body adjust first with the lack of rice in your body. If you suddenly do it you'll notice a big drop in your energy and will cause you weakness. Maybe to motivate you more, try setting up "Biggest Loser" bet with your colleagues or friends with the same problem as you are. The pot money will be a good motivation to start cutting on your eating habits. :)

Sounds like a good plan my friend and this is what I too do. See when I use to eat way too fast I did not realize how much I was consuming. It is also good for you digestive system too. Therefore, sounds like you are on the right path.

Same here, actually i almost ate a lot because i was so lame and feel weak as well. it's not easy knowing that it's only the second day but i think am on a good progress here. yes, it does good for the digestive system. i hope i can also loose more weight this way

No, it was hard but i guess i should have the will and determination to continue. when we are done doing some hard labour, that's when we get tired and forced to eat fast with out knowing. too bad though if i don't keep this up

Good for you! I eat fast as well but after my friends told me that eating slow helps you lose waight, I decided to try it. You are correct, when I tried chewing my food slowere, I was able to savor the flavor of the food. In addition, I become full right away and I did not need to get a second serving. :)

Hello feeltheierie,
I wonder how many months and days before you lost weight because of that. i've also exercise a bit before eating and eat before six in the morning. i think chewing a bit slower has helped me feel the weight of the food inthe stomach. i should try to eat slow again before evening of the end dinner.
