A lot of us depend on the clothes size that we wear...especially jeans, but i've found out that to know our natural waist line is to bend on one side. The crease that forms indicates our natural waistline. Place the measuring tape there...around bare skin to get an accurate measurement. I just realized that my natural waistline is 28 1/2. I usually buy jeans that are 26 or 27. Well i buy size 27 if the jeans is 100% cotton cause i know they're gonna shrink upon washing. Sometimes it also depend on the brand and i luckily get away with size 25 sometimes. They say that women should have up to 35" waistline and men up to 40" to be considered having a healthy waistline. So do you know your actual waistline? Are you happy with it? I'm not very happy with mine but I've heard of some women having 17" waistline. I'm like OMG what do they eat and how do they breathe???

I lost track of my waist many years ago. I tried your instructions but when I bend, about twenty kilos of flesh move and I can't see over it. I doubt if there is a crease there!
As far as I am concerned, any twenty something waistline is pretty good. Although I'm getting out of the habit of using inches.
