What to watch?

Well I did end up seeing the Green Lantern and I liked it very much. It wasn't as good as Iron Man or the Incredible Hulk or the Spiderman movies but it was certainly better than how the critics described it. I think the critics were being overly cynical towards the film. It is a science fiction movie and it must be watched like a science fiction movie. You can't watch it thinking "This is stupid there's a guy in a green suit fighting a big stupid monster looking thing and there's a whole bunch of purple and red aliens". You can't look at it that way. You have to look at it like a science fiction movie. The shiny guy in a Green suit, you have to look at him and not think "Oh this is stupid Ryan Reynolds with a CGI-added green suit" but think "Oh that's Hal Jordan, the Green Lantern". You must take the movie and watch it for what it is. Because on the surface it looks like Star Trek with a bad plot. But if you let yourself watch it without any cynicism, you'll see a gem of a movie!

My friend says that Super8 is just good at the start but at the later parts it becomes pretty boring.
