My husband and I were on a trip that it took 7 hours to drive to where we were headed. Well to keep the conversation alive we started talking about how there's just some idiots who say stupid things and that are annoying. In our conversation we started joking about it. For instance saying "OMG mr. Trucker there's someone tailgating you and it right on your butt! I swear I can't even see his headlights you should move around and try to lose him!" Of course we were talking about the guys trailer lol. Next one is "Mr.Trucker do you know your front wheels are moving faster than your back wheels! Cause there always in your front!" We told my mom when we got back about this one she couldn't stop laughing. Just stupid things but ya know I couldn't stop laughing. At least it took some of our time away on driving and got some great laughs from it :) Have you ever done that?

Hahah great story! My fiance and I often discuss stupid statements people make. What we really find fun is catching the drivers around us doing really odd things. The worst was watching a young kid picking his nose and eating it on the 210 freeway. My fiance pretended to pick his nose and flick it at the guy and he was so embarrassed he speeded off and took the first exit off the freeway. I don't think i've ever laughed so hard in my life.

i think that we should do that a habit. instead of getting bored during our travel we should something stupid but funny. i am not in the habit of making some jokes or telling funny stories. i am not good at it . some people are just good at it that they never run out of funny stories to tell that keeps every moment a happy one.

Last April when my husband and i went to the city where our daughter will be graduating in her degree, my husband and i took a 10 hour day trip. When we are done watching the videos on board, we amuse ourselves by reminiscing those good old days when we were just boyfriend-girlfriend. We laugh at some instances , when we quarrel and make-up . My husband being a natural joker, would tell jokes that makes us laugh, though we have to suppress them, lest we disturb other passengers. Then we look at the sightsas we pass them. It made our trip enjoyable and served as a bonding moment for us.

I like that you can pass the time that way. I never did stuff like that, but I did play I Spy when we were traveling, or we would count the number of red cars or whatever. Sometimes we would look for license plates from a certain state. I like that one about the wheels.. I should try that one on my family and see if they could come up with others.
