I don't think that I could live without my computer now, as I use it for everything from doing my shopping to earning my wage. If I had to go back to a time before computers, I don't think that I would have enough time in my day to do everything that I like and need to do with my life. I would find it very annoying not to be able to contact my friends as easily, as it is so easy to do so online, so our lives have been made a hell of a lot easier by the introduction of computers, internet and mobile phones.

There was a time not so long ago, maybe twenty years, when computers were a rarity, laptops did not exist, and even desktops were not wired for the internet. In those days, the computer was sort of a big calculator, a tool. Today it is a toy as well as a tool. The Internet provides so much entertainment, that people have gotten addicted to computers. We think we are all grown up but we are all just little kids playing with our toys.

yes as you are young lots of teenagers spend plenty of time in the front of computer screen.it's necessary that you should learn it but i think the teenagers should not overdo it as you know anything in excess is poisonous and the same rule applies to computers also.

Hello! well if there were no computers everything will be manual.. Its very hard because company already creating different kinds of software that would make our lives easier.. software for accounting, payroll, database, software for documents.. but to think about it theres an advantage if there were no computers Company needs more people to do the job so they will hire more people and that would lessen people who doesnt have jobs.. :)

What if there were no computers...? Life would be more like it was 50-60 years ago. (Yes, there were computers then but they were rarer.) People would have to actually talk to each other, go to the bank for money, send letters, do their research in a library and all those other things we used to do.
It wouldn't be so bad, though I prefer the ease computers have brought.

yes I am and also people like me are big computer addict and due to that they have become fatty and unhealthy , they don’t have much time to talk to their real friend as they need to give time to their facebook friends.
But there will be big problems if there are no computers. Who will run the trains, factory , buses, aircraft, electricity, banks, phones, entertainment etc.
Obviously we cant run a big risk to go back again 500 years.

we are living in a world where everyone is attached to a computer and so thinking of goin by a single day without a computer is also unimaginable, i wouldnt say we are becoming addicts to a computer, id just say we are utilizing our resources, for example, if u use washing machine to wash ur clothes instead of washing it with ur hand , does that mean u have become an addict to washing machines, technology tends to make our lives easier, i dont think addiciton is the right word

I think that we are just into these things because they are making things easier for us. If they will be gone in a blink of an eye then I think that we can still adapt and just go back to basics.
