I recently graduated from a music technology/sound engineering college and I really enjoy creating music. There is a lot of competition going on in this field. Could you let me please know of any sites, or ways that can benefit me? Maybe feature some of my music in projects that pay? Or compose new original music for any kind of projects (for example video game soundtracks, websites, movie/documentaries soundtracks, etc)

I'll check this site too. Study the pro's and con's and then decide what is the best as far as earnings are concerned. thanks for the information.

First thing you need to do is file all your music samples and demo then if possible, create your own space of website.then after,do promotions of your music and sign up for soundcloud, myspace, all of the music sites that will help you increase exposure.Youtube videos is the best way to get those developers you wants since they love spending time looking for their competitors there. Also try making backing tracks for games just for a sample to get attention like you will say "I dedicate this track for BATTLEFIED" or Duke Nukem or more. Then you can gain views,in the end of that always put your name as the music producer and explain something a bit in the description area that you do offer customize music production for affordable cost.Don't immediately give a price or something if someone approaches you,of course they will ask for your samples and what you can do since they will explain you what kind of music they want.:-) I'm sure you know this since your sound engineer.Anyway If you have more questions. You can ask me all the time.I can gives few tips.

Thank you for your answer as i find it most helpful. I already have a myspace account (as I said before you can access it from my website link in my profile), but it is about a a fatasy-inspired project I started a few years back. Being able to work in soundtracks is a lot more interesting for me though, and lot more rewarding financially.. I gotta check out soundcloud! Another user mantioned it for me in a different discussion. I don't really get what it does.. is it just another profile site or does it have any further pros? I'll make sure to check it out!
