This is one question that comes to my mind. Most of the people from other countries, love to hate the INDIANS. WHY? What might be the reason? I am not saying its with everyone. The people who have been with the INDIANS, have a different opinion. However, because majority of the people do not get in touch with the INDIANS, they love to hate the INDIANS.
Still the question remains, Why?

I saw your question yesterday and I've been struggling with a good answer.
Too be sure, the obvious answer for most of the world is jealousy. Jealousy of tradition, religious freedom and the wide open beautiful countryside.
I know there is a dislike of Indians taking jobs when they are immigrants to other countries. Britain especially seems guilty of this type of "hate" but it is all throughout Europe and even creates a stereo-type view of all Indians prevalent in the United States.
I really don't know a better answer. I have never met anyone from India that I could not really like.

Thats a good one from you Balthasar. Its not that we INDIANs are stealing their jobs.. It is just that we are being offered the jobs basically because we do work in odd hours. We INDIANs need the money for survival and we get the job. However, its just not we INDIANs.. Almost every ASIAN is being hated when you talk about the jobs being taken away.
One thing is that, the hatred towards the INDIANs decreases when they come in contact with and INDIAN.
I thank you very much for putting in your comment as well.

Where do you get the idea that "MOST" people love to hate indians? I live in the States and I know a lot of people and I have never ever in my life heard of anyone putting your country or it's people down. Actually, the topic very rarely comes up but if it does, it is usually when meeting a person from India and they are usually well liked and respected.

I think that some people tend to have prejudices with people that are not exactly like them. In my country noone hates indians that I know of, but there are not many indiands here so noone thinks of them as threatening in any way. But many people don´t like the US here. You cannot aregue with them that politics has nothing to do with how the people are: they are prejudiced. Other people hate a different culture or religion form their own. But there´s no explanation.
