I Am a bit confused about your question...do you mean female mature earlier than males?...if that is so I think females do grow up and mature earlier it is in the nature of the female, we are nest makers and we take responsability for what we want! and that is the difference between male and female!

It's funny that you based maturity in a person's ability to hold on to a relationship (I presume romantic relationship between a man and a woman). As I see it, if a woman prefers to stick with a seemingly undesirable partner, it is not because of maturity. Well, there could be a little percentage of maturity but most of all it is because of the blinding love that she has for that guy. Not to mention also being the martyr and the stupid half of the partnership. (Smiles)
On the other hand, maturity for me is when you know how to respect other people's quirkiness. To let them uphold what they believe in when you really don't share a common ground and still be able to be friendly with each other. We are all unique as they say. And considering this in mind, a friend should understand and let me be if I prefer to eat street food than go fine dining.
