On another thread someone mentioned repenting if they were gay. Which made me curious, how many people actually think being gay goes against god, and if so why? If not, why not?

I believe that if God created you as a homosexual, he should be able to accept you as one. If God doesn't like homosexuality, he wouldn't have made homosexuals. I personally believe homosexuality is not a choice and is as much of a choice as handedness.

Hmm... interesting. I wonder how many homosexuals are left handed... 13/100 times 13/100 is so 1.69% of the world is left handed gays.

Not in the eyes of gods. I think people made the whole thing up because they don't like seeing homosexuality. Isn't your god's job to judge and NOT the people. Not all religions are against this.

I really don't know about this one. I'd like to think that God created us this way and that we aren't subject to hell just because of how we were made. I mean, I hear so many gay people claim that they were born that way. They say that it's all they've ever known. And the thing is? Who cares. Even if you aren't born that way, you ARE that way, and it doesn't really matter. I'd like God to be a God who accept everyone for who they are. Even if they have changed from his original plan, is it their fault? Is it their fault that it's all they've ever known? It shouldn't be. God should love everything he makes equally. And if somehow gays aren't loved, then how can we even call him a loving God?
