I've got a broken foot right now and I hate it with a passion.
I'm wearing an air cast though so I can take it off any time I want to. Plaster is so inconvenient for me especially when I have to work.
4 weeks of plaster would mean numerous trips to the hospital to have new casts put on since I work outside in the summer.
It's not worth it to break a bone, it's not fun and makes life difficult.
I broke my right foot and I drive too, and need to use that foot for driving.

I do no agree with this. It seems pretty abnormal. I would not like to break anything. its very painful and then you have to worry about the bone not healing properly. My daughter broke her arm and it was terrible! We had an awful time with that. And she had to have surgery because the break was so bad.

Yes, I would think that's strange. I wouldn't call it a dangerous thing unless you actually went looking to break your bones in order to get a cast and talk to girls. That wouldn't only be strange, it would be a serious problem.
Personally I've never broken a single bone in my life (and I would SOOO prefer to keep it that way.)

I can't understand why you would like to be in plaster i've been in plaster and it was hot, itchy and horrible and i never want to go through that ever again. However when i had my plaster put on the plasterer told me about somebody who works at the hospital who sometimes plasters themselves for fun.And i understand having something to show off to girls.

That sounds a bit odd, but not as odd as others may think it is. I get an odd pleasure from, of all things, jamming my finger playing basketball or bruising my tailbone. Don't ask me why because I don't know. I loved being able to pop my finger joints when it's jammed or putting pressure on my injured tailbone. The plaster thing I don't know I've never had a plaster cast on but I imagine it's hot and itchy.
