Isn't life funny? The little things that make life wonderful. It's really kind of amazing the ways that things work out. For a great example is my husband and i. My little brother was living with me at the time, and also my baby boy. I had known the man that would be my husband for a while and had spoke to him on and off, but this day was different.
My brother, son, and I had went to eat Subway. In the little town that I live in the Subway is like 2 blocks from the park and the town had a major celebration going on there that day. So while stepping out of Subway I saw my husband and he asked me for a cigarette. So i gave him one and let him know that we were going to the park for the big celebration. I had the stroller and was walking so he said he'd walk with us.
So we started walking to the park (my brother, my son and I and my future husband) and at the park my soon to be husband and we parted ways. I took my son and brother to play at the park and I noticed that my son was missing one of his sandals. Being a first time mom I had another pair of shoes just in case. So I put them on him and didn't think anymore of it.
On our way home my nephew ran up to me and said Aunt Heather someone just brought this for you, you just missed him about 20 minutes ago. It was my sons sandal! I asked my nephew who it was and he said he couldn't remember his name. So I go to my house and I see my future husband who stops me and asks if I got my sons sandal. That was it, I invited him in for tea and we all watched a movie together. After that he started coming by more and more just to hang out and soon after a year of courting he popped the question.
I know that it seems not true, but my son is my Cinderella story. How did you and your spouse get together? Every story of love is so unique, share with us.

Wow what a wonderful story that gave me goosebumps. Your story just shows that life is indeed full of mysteries and surprises who could have thought that the sandals of your baby boy was the key to a new chapter in your life. God bless you and your family and thanks for sharing your story. It really moved me.

Wonderful thanks so much. I'm very glad that you liked it. It is very true, and yes one little sandal that I just brushed off really turned our lives upside down, but in a good way. It's amazing the things that God has in store for you when you least expect them. It's best to just put everything in God's hands and let him do what he does best, and that is just being God. He is God alone, and if you allow him to work in your life, it is so amazing how one little sandal can become something to glory Him. Thanks so much for your response.
