hello again friend..
In your question you have asked which is the best format in cricket....and for that I will go for one day international as its a little slow it gives the batsman or the bowler a scope of come back into the game and it's giver the time to recever the mistake..though cricket is very unpredictable but if we need to judge a team we should go for the time consuming format of the game like 5 days test match..
but when I saw the description of your question there i found ,what is the more entertaining format of the game...then my answer will be of course T20 as we can see some rocking performance in bowling and batting performance in the game nad its to much faster so we don't need to wait a lot for the result..

i think now days if one really looks at the international cricket, one would come to know that people enjoy the t20 form of this game and that really attracts the crowd and when they want to see some real classy cricket ,they move to test matches.
so when it comes to one day cricket people dont get class of test match nor they get the fast and furious stuff of t20.
so for me i would go with t20.
i love watching t20 and test matches and i feel 50 over version is now become very boring.

For me the best format of cricket has always been the Test Matches. I love the grit and determination required in the test matches. T20 is good for entertainment, though it is one dimensional with bowlers hardly having any say in it. ODIs are slightly in the middle path, but there too it is too loaded against the bowlers for real enjoyment.
Cheers!

I prefer one day cricket, because it is a real strategical game. On the other side T-20 is a mere entertainer. In t-20 cricket anyone can hit some big shots and have fame. But it is not like that in a one dayer and test cricket. Both these need careful cricket with lots of commitments.

Dear HDHORDA4,
Both the forms of cricket are interesting. But I feel that the One Day version of the game is the better entertainer. Simply because T20 is actually a nobrainer. Yes it is fun, but then not much thinking is involved. Players try and hit out most of the time. But the 50 over format you cannot hit out all the time. There are middle overs and the option of batting power play that needs to be utilized well and preserving wickets towards the end. There are a lot of strategies involved....!!!
The tests are entertainment in its own way. I have always preferred tests out of all the formats. But the youngsters these days prefer the shorter formats more. But once, one understands the true meaning and value of the five day format, they will always want to play and watch tests. It is truly a test of one's ability, character, and patience. A truly great test player will excel in all the other formats. But a One Day specialist or a T20 specialist may not be successful in the shorter formats....!!!!!. It is sad that in this fast world people do not have the time for tests...!!!!
The question was about T20 or One- Day internationals??.... One Day internationals always...Any time...!!!!!
