Green Lantern

I haven't watch the live action movie of green lantern, only the cartoon version. I enjoyed the cartoon version since super hero and power thing is more appropriate in that version that it would be in live action.

So far, everyone I know and from the reviews i have heard, it sucks. That is all i need. Apparently, Ryan Reynolds does not do anything to save this movie from sucking. If you are going to watch it, i hope you are not paying. Because if you are paying, you are going to be crying about the $17.50 you just lost and the 1 hour of you life that you will never get back. Bet yet, wait for it on Redbox or Netflix to watch it.

It is my opinion that The Green Lanturn sux!!! The ONLY way they could have made it any better, would be to have NEVER made it at all!!!!

I remember Green Lantern comic books when I was a kid, but I was never into them. went more toward Superman or Batman and my favorite, for some reason, was the Flash. I was disappointed in the TV version of that. I think the movies would be better off if they followed some of the original comic book plots than creating their own.

im goin to the theatre tommorow to watch the movie , i hope its good , i heard it got a lot of good reviews and that the animation is good . i sure hope its worth the money

I haven't watched the movie yet. However I wanted to say that apart from sin city, 300, batman begins/dark knight and the first spiderman movies.. all the other movie adaptations from comcis are a complete failure in my opinion. Especially the xmen movies, since I used to read a whole lot of their comics, I can say were really disappointing.. :(

I didn't like it, actually. There were too many writers who made the script so there are a lot of ideas introduced in the story, i.e. origin of GL, Parallax in space, story of Hal, etc. The movie was just not well-done, if it were a steak.
