hi guys!
i need your pieces of advice. I've got a child and when I was still pregnant, I gained so much weight. It has already been one year and 5months since I gave birth but my tummy isn't going back to its normal state. It is still flabby and I am no longer confident in wearing some of my blouses since it will show emphasis on my "fat" tummy. What will I do?
Thanks :)

I am a firm believer in combining exercise and dieting as the perfect fitness program. Some people just diet and some just exercise. But I believe that either one would work without the other. So, I suggest you do both to lose weight.
First of all, set a target weight loss. How many pounds would you like to lose? How many inches around your tummy area would you like to decrease? Set these goals and start measuring. Weigh yourself now and check your measurements. Then, plan a diet menu and target to workout for 1-2 hours at least 4 times a week.
For your diet, you can start by limiting your calorie intake to 1,400 calories per day. You can achieve this by portioning your food. It is important to remember though that you have to eat at least 6 times a day, or every 3 hours in small amounts. You have to eat and not starve yourself because if you starve yourself, your body will react and your metabolism will slow down and you'll find it more difficult to lose weight. So, remember: small amounts, more frequent meals.
As for your exercise, you may start with brisk walking for the first 2 weeks, doing this for an hour or two, four times a week. And, if your schedule and budget permits, you can enroll yourself in the gym and include lifting weights to your regimen.
Try these tips first, and after two weeks, try to weigh yourself again and measure your body. You should be noticing some weight loss already after 2 weeks. It may be slow at first, losing 2-3 pounds per week, but this is fine. Imagine if you do this continuously for 2 months, you can lose at least 16 pounds? Not bad eh?

What i do to reduce it is i control my cold drinks (softdrinks, soda or any form of cold drinks), i drink lot of water and sometimes coconut juice. It also help to lessen your carbo in take. Then take a walk in the morning and in the evening.

hello, igatiful_badass!
I've been lessening my soda intake, I do drink lots of water but I never considered drinking coconut juice. Well from now on, I'll take your advice. Yes, I believe I also need some walking to sweat it all out.
Thanks! :)

I used to be very obese as a child. I used to weigh 90kg but now i am down to 71kg and rocking a six pack. Been weight training for about 2 years now.
The reason that your tummy is not going away is due to the fact that..
Calories taken in(EATEN) Calories expended..
You have to be eating some sort of deficit in calories to be able to lose fat..
A simple rough calculation of the calories you should be eating for fat loss is..
Current Bodyweight in pounds x 13(15 for men) - 500 = calories in a mild deficit.
Accompanied by some form of exercise you enjoy..
This will slowly but effectively help you lose fat.. Remember fatloss takes time, patience and hardwork.. Hope this helps..
