Hi, I like to share to all of you all my favorite lines in all of my favorite movies. First of all is the line in LORD OF THE RING: Fellowship of the Ring... GANDALF and FRODO BAGGINS: "Always after a defeat and a respite, the Shadow takes another shape and grows again. I wish it need not have happened in my time, said Frodo. So do I, said Gandalf, and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us." GALANDRIEL AND FRODO BAGGINS: "Even a small creature can change the course of the future...." FORREST GUMP: "Life is like a box of chocolate, you never know what you gonna get..." THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS: "You got a dream... You gotta protect it. People can't do somethin' themselves, they wanna tell you you can't do it. If you want somethin', go get it. PERIOD!" ROCKY BALBOA: "It's not about how hard you hit... It's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward; how much you can take and keep moving forward..." EVAN ALMIGHTY: "How to change the world, one act of random kindness at a time..." BRUCE ALMIGHTY: "You want a miracle son, be the miracle!" Alright! That's just all I remember... All of them are pretty good to remember and to apply in real life... this all film really inspired me to live my life better... So what's yours???

I think my most favorite movie quote comes from Evan Almighty, when God is talking to Evan's wife and says.. "If one prays for patience, do you think God gives them patience? Or does He give them the opportunity to be patient? If they pray for courage, does God give them courage, or does He give them opportunities to be courageous? If one pray for their family to be closer, you think God caps them with warm, fuzzy feelings? Or does He give them opportunities to love each other?" I'm not much of a movie person but that one particular quote was so touching, and TRUE!!

(Ahh I wrote a comment to this but then realized I wasn't logged in!! Anyway....) Yep I'm a Christian! Like I said I'm not really into movies, but I love any movie that has to do with God or the Gospel in some way. Chronicles of Narnia is one of my favorite movies simply because it was all about Jesus. But, I am a little different compared to most Christians. I'm also a fan of Harry Potter movies (and books). There are lots of positive messages that you can get out of HP if you watch it with an open mind. Ya know, good versus evil and things like that :)

Don't worry, I'm not that type of christian too that have an anti feeling with that movie... I do have also an open mind with many things in my surroundings including this movie... It's my hobby to extract many inspiring value in everything that I see. I can say that we have the same attitude, do you think? =D So what's the name of your church?

Well this one is from a tv show, not a movie, but it is the first that comes to mind. "In the end, we are who we are, no matter how much we may appear to have changed." -Giles: Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Buffy has 7 seasons and the spinoff Angel has 5. There is a reason why they lasted so long and I highly recommend both of them. The spinoff actually parallels with the original, which is something that I've never really seen before. You can watch them on sidereel.com if you are interested. I just thought of another quote, this one from Angel. "If nothing we do matters, then all that matters is what we do." Here is a great one from American History X: Bob Sweeney: There was a moment, when I used to blame everything and everyone for all the pain and suffering and vile things that happened to me, that I saw happen to my people. Used to blame everybody. Blamed white people, blamed society, blamed God. I didn't get no answers 'cause I was asking the wrong questions. You have to ask the right questions. Derek Vinyard: Like what? Bob Sweeney: Has anything you've done made your life better?

Wow... What a nice line! This is really inspiring... =D And about buffy, of course I'm interested, and I am very thankful for giving me the address, at least I'm not gonna use more time searching... Hey, I'm also watching smallville right now but I'm just only at the second season... Clark Kent is trying to save Kristine Kreuk in the car... I just learned in the news that it is in the final season now... Lex Luthor's character here is kinda interesting to watch although I know he is the great villain in this series...

@cher913: That's true, we are all connected in this world. Whatever we create can affect others, that's why we can never live completely without the help of other and the other can't live completely without your help. @94douglas: Good, that is great! Cheers for that!
