Is Anybody Else Having Problems With Their Hotmail Account?

This had been truly a day from hell for a number of reasons!! UGH!! For one, I am so far behind in responding to my friends discussions but I can't get to them because hotmail has blocked me from signing in. I have at least 40 discussions that I've saved to respond to when I get the time and now I can't. When I try signing in, it says there's been some unusual activity on my account and to give them my cell phone number and they'll send me a code to use to get back in and it shouldn't be but a few minutes. Well, it's been 5 hours and still, no code has been sent to me. I don't have a number of emails, just the one so a lot of things is attached to it. UGH!! I've even got to the part where I could change my password and did that but then it sends me back to where it says there's been unusual activity bla bla bla so I did the steps over again and still, they haven't sent me a code to log on. Hubby has even called the two numbers I found on the net and they've been no help at all. Have you had this kind of problem with hotmail? If so, what did you do to resolve it? My dad is four hours away right now in a VA hospital to have his pace maker battery changed out. He's been waiting for a room since early this morning and has been treated very badly and I'm very upset over it that I've had to call the hospital and complain and get dad some badly needed help. My dad has severe diabetes, severe heart trouble and has had lung cancer. He's in no shape to be treated like he was so of course, I'm upset. HIGHLY upset! That's my damned dad!! Nobody treats my dad like that! NOBODY! After waiting for about 6 damned hours for his room to be ready, he's finally in it but before he got his room, the nurse got in his face and told him to get a hotel room!! WTF?!! Who ever it was I talked to, I let her have it but I also let her know it's not her that I'm angry with but I wanted her to know exactly how I felt about it! She said she's going to check in on the situation and will call me back. So far no word but I did hear from my dad and he's in his room now and finally. Why is it that older folks get treated so badly? If it weren't for them, WE wouldn't be here!! I won't tolerate ANYbody treating older folks in a bad way!! They have feelings too! Respect goes a long long way folks! Try it! You might like it!

I couldn't agree with you more on your comment about respect for older folks. It really bothers me when I see young people talking rudely to older people. It just isn't right! The nurse who got in his face must have been having a bad day, but that is still no excuse for such behavior! If she is going to be like that, she needs to take the day (or the week or more?) off and think about maybe getting a job in a different field! It is really refreshing when you occasionally see a young person actually do something nice for someone. I will tell more in a separate discussion, but a young boy came out of the room a couple of doors down and helped pick up a bunch of cans that fell out of a bag that broke when I got home from shopping today. That made me feel really good. I hope that more people learn respect in the future.

I think I have got hit with whatever has been going around. I went to the ER with 102.4 fever where half an hour earlier it was at 100.2. They did all kinds of blood tests but the only thing that showed up was a UTI with lots of feces coming out through the fistula. I really do hope they can fix that problem so I can stop worrying about getting these infection. The doctor said that I might still have fevers for 72 hours after starting the antibiotics. I just hope that I feel like eating because except for one banana, I haven't eaten since Saturday. I don't know if what I feel now is hunger of nausea. Oh well... As far as the boy, he told me he was 6 and that is still at the age when they haven't been led astray by peer pressure.

so sorry dear. it seems like when it rains bad luck, fate just keeps packing it on. you know, when John was in hospital the first time with a bi pass, there was a nurse from hell there. you would think that taking on this job, they would be kind and thoughtful. but just like all other people in life, theres a few very bad ones. this one, was on a break when i went to find someone to help get him back in bed from the pot. i asked her who to get to get him back in bed. she gave me a dirty look and said snippily, "I will help when im done eating. " then proceeded to eat and ignore me. i said ok i'll just do it and she snapped at me again saying its against regulations. i told John and he said thats ok. im in pain but i can wait. i went to the desk to complain and a very nice nurse said ok she would help. i told her, i dont want that one with him again and she said she knew. a lot of people didnt like her. what made it worse was it was fathers day and his birthday also! id brought things from the kids to him, etc. i began to wonder if she maybe had a problem with nice old fathers. but thats me. always thinking of why? someone is so mean, you know. i havent had trouble with my hotmail. i hope you havent gotten a hacker.

i catsanddogs oh email darn. myson was here last Saturday and did some changing in my email as he was getting spam addressed to me and to him. okay so now since the 18th Ihave not got any email for my four diffeent folders, well.com and my 3 g,mail accounts. notr even mylot frineds notifications. I am so upset bah humbug.he will be here Saturday so he has got to get me back in business. i am so sorry to hear how they treated your dad. get tjis cats when I had that bad fall that same eve they took me to the er in garden grove and xrayed my ankle,knee and wrist as they all hurt. okay nobody thought to check that I was haiving extreme pain when Ihad to walk. so they dump me back in my room with my broken nose and my bad knew. the ambulanced people said do you have some one to help; you.you cannot walk. no i did not.so the next morning the false nurse here insisted I be taken to my doctors hospital er for further tests. there they decided duh i had injired my knee wohoopedyh do I knew that so they phone my doctor who said take her to rehab hospital Care House she cannot walk and needs care. so after being in the er from 8 in the morning to 8 at night I finally was admitted to C are House.My doctor was furious that the first er people did not send me to Care house the night of the fall. well finally I did get the care I needed. but that first night at home was pure hell as I hurt so bad I could not even walk to the bathroom so I just used the waste basket.I think if I had been young or even fifty and told them myleg was killing me that first er crew would have got me the help I finally got.Cats I do hope your dad gets better care now. I will send prayers for him and for you that he gets better and better.At care house everyone was so kind to me. my experience there five years ago was a horror as the personnel were all grumpy and rude and nobody really helped me much. so when this time they told me they were sending me to Care House I was upset but the nurse told me they have changed, hired all new people and rebuilt the place;.I was so happy with my care there as they treated me like a real person not an old lady. this was so refreshing to me.
