I did, last night.
I was out in the garden doing some work when they attacked me when I was in the garden.
I wear glasses and they flew in under one of the arms and just started biting away.
My face is so irritated right now, it was extremely annoying trying to get rid of them before they bit me, and it's frustrating that I wasn't able to do so.
We have so many of them this year due to all the rain we got last month. We can't get rid of them even if we could.

You wouldn't want them to do it. It's bad enough to be bitten elsewhere, but to have them get your face is worse.

We were in a drought all this month until today when it poured. But it rained so much last month that they just bred anywhere they could.
We have so many trees surrounding us, they have so many places to hide around here.

ha ha...in a country where mosquitoes are found everywhere...I've been bitten every place possible!
But we now live in a place where the mosquito problem isn't as bad in many other areas and besides...being on a top floor helps. It's not like we don't get mosquitoes at all but it's far less than the people on the lower floors get.

hi kris oh thats sure miserable. mosquito bites onm the face. thats one thing we do not have here in Southern California is mosquitoes. If you can remember to empty any outside container that has water in it as they are breeding pools for mosquitoes. I am told that Avon has some product people buy to prevent mosquitoes from biting them.Ask an avon Lady and she will be able to tell what the product is. We have very few and I hace yet to get a mosquito bite.

Lol, I sell Avon myself, but haven't looked at a brochure lately. I'll have to ask my boss as she has something for it.

I lived a long time on a rubber plantation. So mosquito bites and a daily occurrence. Yes, I get bitten all over. So, biting on the face is normal for me.

hi,
the rainy days start in the month of May and till now it will became heavy rains,so that because of that rain and blocked drainage mosquito arise again,i am afraid to bite by a mosquito because of the diseases they can transfer to us,especially in face,so that every night i will lighten up some killer mosquito smokes to put them away or i will spray sometimes a anti mosquito.

I have been bitten all over by mosquitoes. It is itchy and painful. I usually put hand sanitizer gel on them. Lemon oil is supposed to repel them and lemon balm the plant is too. I have bought lemon scented geraniums as well. I hope it does not stay irritated for long.

Yes, I have. It sucks. Before you are going to go outside, take like a little less than half of a shot glass of apple cider vinegar. They won't want to bite you because they don't like the taste any better than people do.

I did.
While I was sleeping this pesky mosquito landed on my face and sucked my blood away. It was awfully stingy so I woke up. I swatted it by slapping my face. Though I end up sup hurt by self infliction, I still am glad to have killed it.

I have never, but my sister got bit by one on her eyelid. We were visiting family over the summer, and we were scheduled to go to an amusement park the next day. After the doctor gave her the all clear, we went anyway. She wore sunglasses all day to keep others from seeing it and took medication for the pain and swelling.
I myself, however, am very allergic to mosquitoes (or other bugs that bite). I swell up very huge (golf-ball to tennis-ball sized lumps where the bites are). I have seen doctors about it and even spent time in the hospital, but they just tell me to put on some anti-itch cream, take some Benadryl and wait until it goes down. It really stinks.
