Hey Mylotters, I finally did it. I am starting my own business on the July first! I had gained a lot of weight over the past 6 years. This year I kept saying I need get serious. My best friend kept telling me about what she was doing to lose weight. I said ok girl I will just give me a minute.... Now 7 months later we went to lunch. I looked at her and was floor at how amazing she looked. I asked her what the heck are you doing you look amazing... she said Herbalife! I said well sign me up girl I want to do that...
Well three weeks later I am starting my own Herbalife club. People will be able to come to the club and purchase their products from me, they will get coaching from me to do what works for them and their bodies. In just 3 weeks I lost 8 pounds, got tons a energy, and I am starting my own business thanks to Herbalife...
Have you ever jumped into something so big before as starting your own business?

Congratulations on your business and weight loss. I am happy to hear that things are looking up for you.
As for me, no I have not had anything new and or exciting recently. But I am hopeful and reading your discussions says, that nothing is impossible.

HWG hi, Momma that is good to hear. Hwg I have been following momma's discussions for a long time and she has a great outlook on things, we would be well advised to listen when she speaks.

congratulations! :) i just wanna share also, my sister is taking products in Herbalife too and in one month she loses 17 pounds! She replaced her dinner with the shake, and did detox for ten days (every like 5pm she takes tea prior to jog and have shake from herbalife for dinner). And it works! ;)

Hi 34momma!
It feels good reading posts like this. Somebody getting a business and losing the weight while earning. It gives one, er particularly me, hope. I always plan of having a business and having to lose weight as well. Maybe I'll try using Herbalife as well. Does it really work?

zazen6.... it really does work. and not only if you use the products right it helps you drop the weight but gives you tons of great energy! read an earlier post where some said that their sister uses it and lost a lot of weight. but the best part of Herbalife is you can use it and sell it. so now you are dropping the pounds and making money. seriously what's better then that.... thanks for the well wishes

I hate to be the one to pop your bubble but I learned about Herbalife through a friend and was on it for a few months. Though it worked for the first month but after that it stopped working. I lost probably about 10 pounds but that was it, my friend lost about 15 pounds and that was it. My friend and I came to a stand still at that point so we just gave up. I'm going to go the nutrisystem route in hopes that'll get these unwanted pounds off once and for all. Sorry!!

I am sorry to hear that. I know for sure if you use the products the way you are suppose to they work. It's been over a month for me and I am still dropping the pounds. Once you lose a certain amount of weight you come to a stand still. so that means you need to kick start it again by doing other things. Walking, jumping rope, or any other activity you enjoy to help it along. My best friend has been using Herbalife for over a year and she has lost over 60 pounds.

Congrats and I wish you much success! Starting a business can be very exciting and very daunting at the same time. Just remember to save all of your receipts for expenses and such so that you can claim them on your taxes!

That is good. I think I have also heard about this business in our country but never really gave it a serious thought. Does it really work? Don't you eat any real food when you take Herbalife? I heard that they have food supplement in powder form.

Ask yourself this question before you jump into anything, "If I had all the money in the world, what is it that I would absolutely love to do everyday of the year and how could I take that (information, product, or service)and help people
who are looking for what I have to offer"?
Does your answer have anything to do with what you are about to do. If not, I can help you and you'll never have to spend a penny for your effort, and that's a promise.
Kindest regards,
Dave

Don't worry I make you this promise, it will NOT cost you one red cent. I'll send you a friend request. Just accept it so I can private message you with the details. I also promise you I will not send you any link unless I have your permission.

Well Congrats 34momma on starting with Herbalife AND losing weight AND gaining energy. I myself had a tough year....I'm a grad student with kids and single, ok, enough about me but it was just a difficult year for my family (siblings, etc.) and I went through a little depression, had picked up some weight on top of the extra few pounds I was already carrying. Well, last week, I said enough was enough and shook both white flour and sugar. I have quickly lost weight in the past by eliminating and then monitoring my intake of these two fatlovers and starting a jogging and strength routine. It is really kind of a throwback Atkins diet but it works and I always gained energy and feel better for it in the long run.
I also have to say that I think entrepreneurship is the pathway to freedom. Time, financial and personal freedom. Most people go into it with a passion that they want to monetize or they do something that will allow them to enjoy all of the other aspects of their lives more. I am a firm believer in this practice and I guess that's why I try to find lucrative ventures and adventures on-line.
For me, I know that I have a helping personality and it brings me great joy to help people go from one place to another. I am happy for you and wishing you all the success and joy that your heart, mind and soul can hold. I will see if you are in my friend list because I am always looking to befriend and align myself with positive movers and shakers.....lol

i am always ready to make a new good friend. you know we all go through hard times. it's how we deal with it and come out of it that determines the kind of people we really are. i too have had my moments, but i know that every hard time is a learning lesson. so i learn and move on to apply those lessons to my life. and look at me now... a business owner. i am so grateful to God.

Oh, I definitely agree. One thing is that if the Lord graces you with another day, you know that you can "Keep on movin'" as the song says. I take one step and one day at a time and at the end of it all, it's all good. Congrats again on your new biz and I am glad you are giving the Father, his due praise.

Wow! Congratulations! Good for you! The opportunity presented itself to you and you have grabbed it pretty well. I commend you for that! Most of the time, a lot of people is looking for nice ideas regarding business but they fail to recognize the opportunities lurking in front of them. As for me, I'm not into business or entrepreneurship. I would like to venture in investing but not really to manage any business. So far so good for you with the bonus of losing out weight! Best of luck to your new endeavor! :)

Congratulations on your new business! I know that's going to be a sucess because herbalife is a big and conceptualized company. I know that they have affiliates in a lot of different countries and they are in the market for a long time.
And, you are going to be the model for your business, everybody will want to know how you lost so much weight in a short period of time.
I never started my own business, but definetly want to. It's my dream not have to work for someone.

I have my Own Business, plus for the time being I am also working for someone else. I do a lot of Shows with the item I sell, and actually have great success. Would Love to do just this, but due to many Health issues being discussed right now, I have to go with what I have, but planning for the day when it is NO MORE. Best of Luck.

then she found a really bad coach. my coach has held my hand through the weight lost process and she is in total support with my opening up my club. she is buying me as a gift all of the furniture i am going to need for the space! plus help me run it for the first 2 months to help me bring in clients. now that's how a coach is suppose to support you. I mean they make money if you make money, so it's in their best interest to much sure you make money. any coach who isn't doing that is a loser!
I have been working my road2freedom.ws site this way since i launched it. all of my members who are active i add their links to a rotators so i can help them build their downline. when they make money i make money. and all they need to do is be active!! sounds like a win win to me. I have not lost one road2freedom.ws member yet

Congrats! I know of some people who have made a good living by selling Herbalife and become healthier in the process. I'm usually pretty cautious when starting a business because I like to weigh all the pros and cons but I'm quick to find a product that will get me results and then I'll research it before I'll buy it. I wish you luck!

Everyone can start selling the products. now renting a space and doing it the way i am doing it is another step to the process. but if you are just interested in selling the products from your home to friends family and others you know who want to lose weight, gain weight or just get healthy let me know
