A troll is someone who deliberately posts provocative messages to a newsgroup or message board with the intention of causing maximum disruption and arguments. Usually a troll creates a number of sock puppets to add to the mischief. A sock puppet is a second account a troll creates with the intentions of trolling and posting anonymously. Usually they create a new persona and pretend to be someone else. So do you troll? Do you think it is fun? is it immature? is trolling ever acceptable?

When I was a teenager with too much free time on my hand, I did do it. Granted, it was kind of justified in many ways, as there are a lot of people on the Internet who just leave themselves opened. They take themselves way too seriously and thus are prime targets for a lot of people who really do decide to troll. It is extremely amusing when people freak out. It is kind of sad in many ways when people don't realize that they are being trolled but also extremely funny.
These days however, as much fun as I might have had, it is a different time and I have grown up in many ways. Of course in many other ways, I have just merely gotten older. I don't know if acceptable is the right word to use for trolling. However there are many people who are just really asking for it a lot of time. There are going to be really be many people who are self important for sure and are bound to just be asking to be trolled. It is not something for me however in many ways. Just don't have the time for it.

No, I don't troll. I don't see the point of it. I do confess to "feeding the trolls" too much. Responding, first by trying to use logic and rationality and then just mocking and making fun of them. Which is also immature, but they deserve it and it gives me pleasure to exercise my ability to slam idiots with my wit.

Though sometimes it is fun, I still do not get it when someone wants to start a conversation wherein in the end will cause disagreements or grudge to both parties involved. When I'm into a heated conversation, I always excuse myself if the other parties seems to have closed minds and would not hear of others' opinions.

This seems like something that would be on urban dictionary instead of mylot lol, but answering your question.. No I don't troll I think it can be fun if you are a teenager with nothing better to do and are on the internet, but I don't find myself trying to cause mischief especially online.

Trolling is maybe the most fun you could have on the internet, i do troll and it is a blast. Even though trolling is done on the internet, you can always troll in life, eg. telling someone in math class that you can take down facebook, this then gets her in a un beleivebal state, she then would tell every one that you think you can takedown facebook, Now every one in the class room is now arguing about if you can do it and now you can just sit there with your troll face on and laugh.....this will then become a SUCCESSFUL TROLL!
