which spends more money on clothes men or women?

It's just a myth that women spend more on clothes than men. I have seen men who spend way too much too. I have seen men who have more pairs of shoes than women too.

Based on my observation, women spends a lot on clothes, make-ups , accessories, shoes and bags, than men. However, when it comes to gadgets men tend to outdo the women in spending. Men are more into buying appliances, cars and mechanical things, which cost a lot per purchase . So, in comparison, they tend to spend more money than women.

According to my opinion men is spending more money than women for their cloth. In my case my husband always purchase jeans and t-shirt for him. I am not spend more money on my sarees. No friend now women is not spending more money on her cloths because she knows expenses are more and income is less.

I think if you have funds then you will spend the money. It depends from person to person. Some people spend more on one thing and others on the others. It is not a question of male or female but of interest. That is all I think about it. Have a nice day ahead.

In Nigeria, women spend more money on clothing than men. I think women are more fashion conscious than men. A man can wear his pairs of trouser and shirt for years without changing them for newer ones but that is not the case with women. In Nigeria, women clothing are very expensive especially the traditional african lace material. And most women spend a fortune on jewelry and gold bracelets etc

I think that women spend more money than men because shopping is the habit of most of the women and they like to buy anything which is new in the market so therefore i believe women spend a lot of money on clothes as well as everything.

I think they spend more because fashion for women changes more frequently for females then it does for men. Walk thru a mens departent what's it stocked with? Same ol' stuff since they were younger just different colors somewhat and fabrics. Women, it's colors, fabrics, cuts, necklines, hem lines, layered looks, then you got your basic tee's, work casual, dressy, accessories, change colors with the season, different shoes for different looks (men usually own a couple pairs of shoes), some women even change purse with the season/year ect. Also women are usually in charge of buying for the childrens needs as well.

I spend more often, but when Hubby spends he spends a lot. He's a very expensive date.

I think that women probably spend a lot more money on clothes than men, but this is partly due to the fact that we have a lot more clothing options open to us than men. If you take Primark as an example, in Liverpool where I am from, there are four floors dedicated to women's clothes in comparison to just one floor dedicated to men's clothes which is down in the basement. If women want to keep up with changing fashions, they need to replace their clothes much more often than men do, meaning that they have to spend more money on them.

Well, I spend only for computer and computer gadget. Not spend to much because I am not that materialistic... I think you right, friend. ladies spend to much than men...

I think that both men and women can be equal in spending money on clothes. it all depends on your style and personality as to how much you will be willing to spend on what you wear. gender has very little to do with that choice.

It can go both ways and depends on how fashionable one or the other is. See there are men into their looks just as much as there are women. So it would be difficult to say exactly who does unless we do a study of x amount of equal people. But still if we look at in general it can be either one.

I think women will spend more on clothes. Maybe because of variety of the clothes for women. For men, they normally prefer to spend money on food instead of clothes. Most of my male friends are seldom buying new clothes unless for celebrating the New Year. However, for my female friends, they almost will buy at least 1 shirt when shopping.

If buy same quantity of clothes, i think men should be more spend. But normally we can see women can buy many clothes because they have more choose at their fashion. Women very like shopping , at shopping center the fashion shop for women sure are a lot. Don't need worry their can't find their clothes, just worry no money.

Well where I'm from men spend the most money because their clothers are way more expensive than women clothes. Gadgets and gizmos men spend the most on that also. Now if we was to talk about shoes females spend more money.

women spend money too much because woman's clothes are inferior quantity. they spend money for fashionable outfit,shoes,make ups in short women are materialistic than man and also shopaholic. women are healthy and beauty conscious. well men are just simple , men have more simple needs and wants than women, i think they can survive less money which women can't. men usually buy what is the most priority.
