Anyone heard of this? I haven't tried it personally but I heard it's something like Picasa and that auto tags people on your photos based on facial recognition.
Do you think it's creepy when it comes to privacy?
I like it cause it saves me time tagging people. I'm not a celebrity anyway so I don't really care that much about the privacy. But how about the people you're tagging automatically? Well they always have an option to untag themselves. What do you think?

Yeah, I think it's pretty creepy. I guess it will save people time but it's weird how it tags people automatically, I just imagine alot of confusion and complaints, if someone doesn't have a facebook but did before (deactivating it) and it recognizes them as someone else in a huge group of pictures haha.

So that's what I experienced when I uploaded some pictures from my friendster (since it closed on May 30 and I don't have back-ups of the pics). It's a bit cool cause it can differentiate facial features but also creepy cause someone might be recording the data you've been typing.
We don't know if that someone might be a potential stalker. .

I heard a lot of comments about it being creepy. You might just get tagged automatically by one of your friends who's using it and link you to someone, say, a criminal who looks like you. It's crazy! They might just mistaken you for someone else. That's what I'm worried about.

Haha the hard part is, if they use your face for someone with criminal records. That sounds creepy but it's possible. I think it's okay as long as you only allow your close friends and relatives to auto tag you.
