I was reading an article that hit the papers today where a Russian woman died at her own funeral. Doctors pronounced her dead and so the family had arranged her funeral. She woke up in a coffin and had a heart attack from the stress of it all. She was rushed to the hospital, but announced dead on arrival. Her husband is suing the hospital because maybe something could have been done for her the first time.

Hi Lindaharding. OMG no wonder she had a heart attack I would have too. I hope her husband wins big time and they shut down that hospital. That is really messed up that they refused her at the hospital. Oh well at least she is in Heaven with God and suffering no more.

This is truly a weird story; dying twice could not have been any fun for her. I cannot imagine what this lady must have been going through when she woke up in her coffin, how could this happen? Do they not embalm the bodies over there? To me this is what make this story unbelievable.

It's so weird. There are many things coincidence.Sometimes people are afraid of the coincidence. When it occurs, people will tend to think maybe it is God's will or fate or supernatural forces.Somethings really no way to explain with scientific. But we still should believe science to avoid fear.

Wow that's really scary, one would think for sure that a hospital would be more thorough in their examinations for vital signs. Yet again, sometimes vital signs may be so low that they're undetected by whichever monitor they're using. Not a pretty sight to witness as a mourner and especially not as a family member! :-( I hope the husband gets at least some compensation with this mistake.

This is just horrible. The woman's husband is right in suing. The doctors should have known better. Do you have the link to the news item?

Now that is bizarre! Wow I can see how if it were me I too would be so shocked to awaken in a coffin. Coffins give me the creeps anyways so to be laying in one would surely give me a heart attack too.
I can see the concerns of her husband as surely something went wrong there.

I have been hearing such related stories which happened during the time of my ancestors. I could understand such might happen in the past when there was no state- of- the- art medical equipment or even device that could immediately detect vital signs. But if this still happen at this point in time, it would be inexcusable. I am hoping that her family would be given justice on this. Further, may this serve as a lesson to the concerned.

I read an article about this yesterday, I feel so bad for her family. She looked like such a sweet lady
