Budget is the first thing you need to start with. I organized my brother's wedding back in 2003 and the first thing that we considered was the budget. Next we had to think of was venue. Church reservation should be made at least 6 months before in the Philippines. If you're a Catholic you better start booking now as some people make reservations two years ahead. YOu have to make choice A and B or even C though so you won't waste much time. Include the venue of the reception as well. Write down your guests and try to head count. One thing i learned is that for every invitation you send out in the Philippines you should multiply that by three and that's the actual number of guests coming. But if you have an RSVP, that would be very helpful too as long as they get back to you. Go to National Bookstores, there are some books like notebook type as a checklist for a wedding preparation. I have more to say but it's just too long.

Well start with a smile, a bride should always smile. Let the people around you advice you. The checklist is what you want, not the other people have. I wish you a happy and wonderful wedding.

Hi joanne13! First of all, congratulations of your engagement! I believe wedding should be wonderful and should be colorful because it is a very important woman's experience of a life time, but now, we have to consider the monetary capacity/capability when we decide how our wedding ceremony will be. I prefer these little things should be decided by you and your fiance, this way everything is agreed so there will be no problems ahead. There are wedding coordinators where u can find online, so you can check and compare it's package rates. Congrats!
